Well. Losing money for people not sending SMS's could be a point, if BT would work within 10 Km or so Because in can only reach other devices at about 10 meters I think that's no longer a reason. It sure would be fun to meet people!

while in a carphone warehouse megastore yesterday i remembered this thread an silently chuckled in my head. i then turned on b/t and found 4 users with b/t but 1 of them had renamed there fone to sally i then changed my v card to say hello, can c ur in c/fone ware, and then sent it,, to my amusment it was the girl at the desk bein served so we then sent a few more funnys and the man at the till pointed us out as we was laughing and messing round with my fone well anyway to cut a long story sally and friends asked myself and friend we told her then my mate asked her if she wanted a drink so we ended up going for pub lunch (she was with 2 other friends) and now it seems he is sorta seein her so it just goes to show that it could be a valid tool untill everybody starts this then it could get a little annoying

Hehe very funny stories, that's why I always turn my BT on when I go out! Of course here in the US I haven't had a single "discovery" yet. Well I also like the blue LED...

I just had to try this so I went to a very crowdy bar in Stockholm. Voila, I found a device called "telefon" which is swedish for telephone. I guess you couldnt have guessed that *LOL*
I tried a couple of times to send a phonebook entry with the name "hello" but it failed
If it would have been a Nokia, would it have been possible to transfer this via bluetooth then?
Has anyone tried it?
