Hi guys,
I just wanted to share my first bluetooth experiment, it can actually be a great social experience!
I was in Istanbul, Turkey in buz bar (anyone knows?) and i was just fooling around with my phone.
I decided to look for BT device and was amazed to see 3 or 4 phones available for connectivity.
So i sent my card (wich i just made for the purpose =) ) to thoses phones in hope to get a nice, fine young lady.
Well I got a reply like: who are you? you don't have any number.
And saw that beautiful girl at the bar haging on her phone. ( She had a nokia wich has the bluetooth on all the time as default).
She didn't know who I was so i took advantage of the situation and had a laugh then i went to talk to her... next thing you know, the night took longer than i though...
Soooo my advice is: keep that bluetooth ON!!! especially when you go out! who knows????

PS: keep in mind that fine young ladies don't really know how to use their phones so well, so you are more likely to get nerd instead

If you have any nice stories or ideas pop them here, let's blow the topic!!!!!

The other day we were eating at Pizza Hut when I decided to do a BT scan. One 6310i came up which turned out to be owned by a lady (mid 30s, not good-looking at all) 2 tables in front of me. I then proceeded to send vCards with messages on the fields.

First I sent "Pizza Hut". She apparently doesn't even know what BT is so she began asking her friend if she sent her that (the only one who would know her number and her whereabouts). I then sent other stupid messages relating to eating pizza... It can be quite amusing, at my vantage point, to see her obviously wondering where these vCards came from.
It's \\ NOT /// !!! Look at it sideways !

Haha! good story! I really miss the oppurtunity to send messages via BlueTooth! It is just not the same sending messages in the vcard, strange that they havent got such a feature in their phones actually!

Yeah it was a 6310.
I guess theses phones have bluetooth always on.
And I don't care if some of you beleive me or not. It did not happen exacly like this but I made it short.
Anyways I'm just saying that BT is a nice way to introduce yourself in a original way.
I bet that in 1 or 2 years, this technique will be widely used... then it will suck

This is slightly far feached that these people don't know they have bt on! They would either have to be discoverable or even if on they would have to make 'device available for all' as 'not available' is the default security setting for bt!

Can you really stay ALWAYS discoverable with a 6310i? On a T68 this story would never come true since you can only stay discoverable for 3 mins. Isn't it true?

Maybe there's a reason why you can chat with BT:
It would replace the SMS, and plenty of money that operators get from this service.
Maybe that's copmpletly bullshit, but anyway i'm sure that there's is a reason not to put chat on BT, it can't be just forgot by manufacturers as it is a communication tool...
