Land lines have ofcourse to compete with mobiles for its other features. That is the plus point.

The picture that axxxr posted has the Q + Z on the Number 1 button, that would cause me problems if it can be used for texting

sorry, we do have a BT connection as its required for our Demon ADSL service. What I meant though was that we don't use a home phone, everyone now calls us on mobiles
