That is amazing but...
I really wanted to love the Vertu when I first heard about it years ago. This incredibly expensive phone that would be the ultimate gadget for phone enthusiasts...
and yet, I remain unconvinced. I just don't think the design is all that great. It looks special but not to the tune of £3,000 and yes, I have held one in my hand and seen it up close.
Does anyone else feel the same or am I the only one missing something here? |

People with the money couldn't care about, looks, features, all they care about is having an image. But the Vertu Ascent never was special in my eyes. The Vertu Signature looks much better.

The idea and the concept are perfect, but the phone itself (ascend or signature, it makes no difference) is very far from perfection. I would consider B&O Serene much closer to the idea I expected from Vertu. |

The Serene is far more of a joke than the Vertu - if that's what you're implying.
The Serence has no style whatsoever, let alone worth it's est. price.
It's only essence about it is the name tag of "Bang & Olufsen".
Vertu looks far more elegant and premium than the Serene.
Although this is just my strong opinion
