Ok. It is just my imagination: To contact same branded phones, free of call cost. There should be a way.

- 1 terabyte of phone memory
- 3D holographic display
- Bluetooth with a few GB/s transfer rate
- 144 MP cam
- nice theme's
- Time travel function

THEN and only then i'm satisfied with my mobile !
I think the follower of the w900i will have all those functions and some.

Quite unrealistic though, AppA....!
A more realistic suggestion can be

1. 5 (maybe 7) megapixel Optical Zoom CCD (Repeat CCD, not CMOS) Camera (Comeon....Samsung's already done it!)

2. Atleast 4 gigs of memory onboard, and 10GM MS-Duo free!!

3. Wireless Bluetooth "in-ear" headphones (similar to W800's but wireless)

4. Okay, copying this one from others....Changeable covers....but of better quality than Nokias

5. Broadband internet with PC connectivity

6. Ability to open word, excel, ppt, pdf, zip, rar, exe, mpg, and every existing filetype...

7. Slim as the motoRazr

well, that's already too demanding i guess, so i aint gonna demand more for now....!!!

that would be kinda cool, but then you'll have tons of weight hanging on your ears.
Also Advanced ID3-Tag support would be fine.
And if talking Schedulers: a (school)agenda, multiple reapeatable reminders (i really miss that on the k750i, tho the early Siemens series had that).
No .amr recording anymore plz, just record into mp3 bitrate up to 192 kbps.

EASY CONNECTIVITY WITH THE COMPUTER!!! (sorry, but i really needed to write that down with caps on)

Thats it for now, i'll post when something else pops out.

/edit:
oh yeah, plz record video at a higher bitrate, that k750i viderecording is just KILLING me..

How about a customised "assembled" phone where you can choose what components goes into the phone....much like a pc..
My configuration would be sumthin like this
  • High resolution large screen
  • High grade camera
  • Fast processor...how bout 900/1500 mhz??
  • Stable OS with plenty of app support
  • Multi band operability....

And so on.....

A handset where I can watch DVD (clarity) movies. The memory storage will only be as BIG as that of a TRANSFLASH memory card . . . . [addsig]

a phone that acts like an external HDD or an external Memory card with USB connection to the PC would be nice.

Basically its got to be a Video ipod (music and videos), phone (with DAM GOOD RECEPTION!), PDA (the calender bits), PSP, Digicam.

i would like:

DAB radio
Built in GPS
Built-in usb connector so it could be used like a usb memory device
far greater internal memory

I guess what i want is mainly stuff that already exists but i wld like it consolidated into one device!

Dab radio (agree welsh tom !)
fast internet

hard drive, enough to store several films, plenty of music
mem slot
quality stereo speakers
Hdd picture quality screen
improved battery technology
improved camera with full digicam functions
improved video calling

Constant, fast, online real IP based connectivity that allows me simultaneously to stream content up and down wirelessly using voip, video, http, email, and anything else I choose. There will be no difference between my phone number, my IP address, my domain name, and my email address, my IM presence id. Oh, this will all be at a dirt cheap prices. In its current form IP access on a mobile is still slow, costly, and restricted by telco's, In 3 or 5yrs time this should easily be commonplace on ALL mobiles.

I’ve also recently joined a new company – they are called SpinVox. They have invented this amazingly simple service called Voicemail to text. It takes your voicemail messages and converts it to a text message and sends it straight to your mobile – so you get a word for word text message of the original voicemail.

We’ve all been in a noisy bar or restaurant and got a voicemail. You have to go and find somewhere to listen to it. You will most probably have to replay it to make sure you heard it correctly PLUS find something to make notes on! SpinVox takes away that problem.

You have all the information you need in your text message. The benefits are endless - You can use it abroad too – so no more extortionate roaming charges to ring the UK and pick up your voicemail. You can also have your messages sent to you as email too – Ideal if you are like me and invariably leave your mobile at home

I know that I am biased but I think everyone should have access to this – its not a luxury – it makes life easier. In the next 5 years, I expect to see this integrated into all mobile handsets.

You can try it yourself free for a week www.spinvox.com
