I set the settings of airtel live on my phone, and it worked. That is, i could connect to airtel wap site . It had the following settings apart from the usual stuff- access point - airtelfun.com
phone ip- automatic
primary name server -0.0.0.0
secondary name server - 0.0.0.0
proxy server address- 100.1.200.99
proxy port-8080
in the 7250 that i have, the settings for airtel live are the same except for the fact there is no entry like primary name server, secondary name server, proxy server address or proxy port. It has one field called ip which had the entry 100.1.200.99...
any clues?? |

Where did you get that from?
I am cent % sure that a proxy or its port is not necessary.
I HAVE USED THE 6600 WITH THE SAME SATTINGS AS YOU CURRENTLY HAVE.
The airtel folks can't provide proxy and stuff as its out of their provisions.
Did you try netfront btw?
