Actually underneath the housing they both have the same hardware, so basically they are the same phone with different firmware. The differences you see in W800 (better MP3 player etc.) are because of the firmware, and I think that is why DP-77 wants to update his K750; to have the features of W800 with the looks of K750.

And about having more bundled memory with the W800; well.... if you compare the prices, normally a W800 costs more than the combined value of a K750 and a separate 512MB card, so doesn’t make much sense in buying a W800 if you prefer the K750 look and don’t mind meddling with firmware.

That is exactly what I was talking about,

well you didn't mention the headphones
the headphones plus the memory stick duo is about right for the cost
i got the headphones seperately and they aren't cheap

i put in a 2 GB Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo card, and loaded about 1.5 GB (300 songs) of songs. however, my playlist only goes up to 30 songs. Is there a way i can play ALL the songs? or am i only allowed to play 30?

would the w800 flash help?

You can add all your music in one go, but if you want to play them all - don't select an individual album or artist, but go to 'Tracks'. You may need to wait for it to scan the card, which for a 2GB card will take a while, but then select any track.

From now on, you'll see EVERY track that the phone can find, including ringtones and folders from the phone memory. To eliminate those, create a playlist that has all the album folders you want and select that.

Just make sure you are not being penny wise pound foolish! dont forget with the W800 you a decent in ear stereo headset and a 512mg card included in the price. With the K750 you get the standard 64Mg card which is no use at all! and the usual headset. Unless the price difference allows for you to buy a decent sized storage card and some decent headphones I wouldnt bother.
I have owned the ... T68i T610, P800, P900, P910, P990, W950, P1, W960 But SE have now totally lost the plot.

Ebay -This guy is quick cheap & efficient. I used him to debrand last phone and got it back via Royal Mail SD in less than 48 hrs.

The below item has ended but he continually relists and provides helpful friendly advice via eamail
