Hi,

I had a similar problem. Bought the phone a week ago, took over 24 hrs to charge battery. Let it discharge fully before charging again. This time it took about 12 or 13 hrs to charge but it hung on 76% for hours. I also had issues with transferring mp3s to the phone. If I tried to transfer a heap of songs at a time (about a dozen or so) I could see the files being transferred and stored on the phone, but as soon as I disconnected from the computer I lost all but a couple of the songs. The only way I could get around it was to do a couple of songs at a time.

I took the phone back and they basically replaced everything. The new phone took under 2 hrs to charge. So far so good...
I checked the firmware on the new phone and it was the same as the first. It may have been a dodgy battery or charger?

Just throwing my two cents in just in case others are having the same problem.
