yeah, I also don't get the point of switching it off to charge??? just read some discussions concerning batteries here in Esato.
but I switch it off at night, and I'll tell you why:
I've got two girlfriends - when one of them is staying the night at my place, I'm always scared that the other one would call. and that's why I just switch my phone off and I'm cool

Mine is always on - 24/7. I have a special profile called V.I.P. - only 3 people can wake me up - others logged |

I leave mine on because I might forget to put it back on in the morning and have left for the office while something might have come up. The morning routine is one where I have been called more than once... |

During night my phone is on, but in silent profile. Calls are diverted to voice mailbox after 20sec.

Yeah... I notice that alot of people here turn their phone off when they are charging it. Is there any reason for that? I actually play games even when the phone is plugged into the charger...
P.S. nice idea XoXo. the VIP profile sounds cool.

I leave it on 24/7.
However I would think it is not the best to leave it on and very close to you when you are sleeping due to SAR |

My wife and I never switch our phones off. We charge them overnight - my K700 every night, her Z600 every 4-5 days.
The phones sit in the kitchen overnight, though.
