Just got my camera out to take a couple of pics and the batteries are flat.

I will charge them over night and grab a pic in the morning and stick it up.

When the new one arrives I will see if the old one is blocked. Would O2 have kept a record of my phone ID as they didn't ask me for any details or anything about it when I ordered the recon one.

We shall see. I don't want to ring them up and ask if they will be blocking my old phone for them to turn around and say 'Oh yeah actually we need that back' or something.

Il offer £50 and special delivery postage. Do the pictures from the phone work ok still?

Oh and if I was you put it as your selling it "as is". In other words it 'could' be blocked by O2 in the near future as its going to be replaced (although it might not) and obviously the screen.

Cheers for that link.

O2 will provide me with a reconditioned K750 for £50.

SE repair centre (ASR Logistics) weren't sure which price to replace screen as it is a new model but said it was either £64 or £93.

Or I replace it myself for £43.

I am thinking the reconditioned model is the way to go as if I try and fix the screen myself I may mess it up or may find that the fall has actually damaged other things.

Can anybody buy a recon for £50 ? Thanks,

No, reconditioned units in this sense are only offered to people who 'disable' there mobile phones out of warrenty or due to your own fault. It is usually in replacement for there old handset.

Just like when my PS2 warrenty expired then promptly broke the very same month, when PS2's were still £200, Sony offered me a reconditioned PS2 for £70 plus the old one.

I forgot to check that the pictures I took came out alright by transferring them to my PC last night as I had swapped my Sim to an old Nokia temporarily.

I will check them tonight and let you know.

What I will do is wait until the new one is up and running and see if the old one seems to also be working and then let you all know what happens and the highest bid can have it.

New one has just arrived which is nice and quick service on O2's behalf.

Unfortunately they haven't included any of the standard extra's so it is literally just the handset (thinking about it, it was wishful thinking that I would get a whole new box with everything)

This means the one I am selling will just be the handset. As I have 2 x 1GB Mem Sticks and a 32MB Mem Stick (For PSP) as well as the 64 MB Stick that came with the phone I am happy to include the 64 MB stick if people want it.

Make me an offer for headset only with NO charger or any extras.

Let me know if the offer is for the 64MB card also.

Tonight when I get home from work I will transfer all of my contacts etc from the broken one to the new one and also check to see that everything seems to be in working order and check the photos/video seem to be working fine.

Once it is all ready I will post to let you all know that it is all in order (and hopefully not blocked).

I guess i will give people tomorrow to decide and say the best bid I get by 4pm tomorrow (Wed 19th October) will get it.

I would probably prefer PayPal or Nochex as that is what I am used to using online.

OK, I have actually sold the phone now as I got a decent offer there and then through msn and decided it was a good enough price.

Apologies to anyone who wanted this.
