Mysentiments exactly. I used to get tons of that stuff in my mailbox. I just delete them right off. In addition, I have set up a filter on my account that has been effective in keeping them ALL out.
Such tactless mails are really just a lot of nuisance. I have seen some of those boys send them out at local internet cafes here. They just copy and paste and mail en masse using "harvests" from email extractors. Why they do it is another question entirely: desperation? stupidity?

Besides, if you reply to them it validates your email address to them... and they're likely to sell your address along with a load of others to other scammers, spammers and general morons.
But I have been very tempted to send similar emails to scammers!

Some person who was browsing this forum wants to buy my k750i phone which is advertised on this forum and wants my address which i have sent.He says he is going to send £175 by special delivery.Should i be worried with him knowing my address. |

The best way of replying to a scammer is giving real threats. I´ve been scammed once and found on a forum people who have already been scammed by the same person and had discovered smoe info about him. Just email him saying personal things about him and that the police already knows about everything. It helps also if you say things like í´ll put you in jail asshole´´ and works even better if you know his mother´s name. |
