This is Fastport pin layout. Short ciruiting pin 8 and 9 will tell the phone that H-free is connected. I've checked that as just finished building car cradle with in car charging and stereo output for FM transmitter.

1. USB +5V
2. headphones common
3. SWITCH, microphone +
4. SWITCH, microphone -
5. Left
6. right
7. n.c.
8. with the FSE with GND short circuit, USB cable - open. (1k? resistor to GND(pin 9) -> serial)
9 GND (longer contact)
10. USB data (Serial data Rx (to phone))
11. USB data (Serial data Tx (from phone))
12. +5V from the battery charger.

there is no question that the hpm70 works with the radio, everyone knows this. What is being asked is does the radio work with the mmc-60, which doesn't activate the handsfree profile.

I only mentioned the hpm70 with regard to sound quality - the mmc-60 is way better.

Oh i'm sorry, i made a mistake there, i meant to say that mmc-60 works with the radio, i've tried it and it works, the sound quality its better.

Oh, cool

I was surprised it was so much better, but I guess it's a straight through connection (no break) and gold plated rca connections, so it's not really surprising at all once you think about.
