6630 is a smartphone, it is capable of having installed applications, however, it is also prone to viruses that travels via bluetooth...

s700 is a non-smartphone, you can only install a few java applications, but unlike the two phones, it has a better camera lens (CCD sensor) and better build quality...

k750 is also a non-smartphone. but it boasts of a 2MP picture size (1632x1224) with autofocus! being the newest among the three, it may have some software bugs, but that's where occasional firmware updates come in...

for most users, k750 is the choice, but for me, i will choose the s700, because of its build quality, unique looks, and scratch-resistant screen...

btw, i also live in the philippines... ;;)

@vrl29- thanks for the comparison
u are using a S700 i take it
i also love the build and the design of S700i
can you tell me if it can play converted movies?
and is the camera really good???
I mean kung konti lang difference ng cam ng K750i and S700
I am leaning towards the S700 becoz of the screen
is it heavy and a nuisance to use?
sorry for the questions ..

there are many other Filipinos here in Esato. Hah, there is even a thread exclusive for Filipinos...

If you want to buy from a "reputable" store, you might as well go to the Sony Ericsson Concept Shop in Glorietta 3. They sell phones with a one-year warranty. Get ready to shell out more cash, though...

i'm using a k700 as of the moment, but i plan to upgrade to an s700 in the next few weeks.

as for the camera difference, the s700 can take pictures with a maximum resolution of 1280x960 pixels (that translates to 1228800 pixels, or 1.3 MegaPixels if rounded off), while the k750 can take pictures with a maximum resolution of 1632x1224 pixels (that translates to 1997568 pixels, or 2.0 MegaPixels if rounded off). in reading other people's opinions, most of them say that the k750's camera beats off the s700.

i've already tried both phones, although i recommend the k750 to other people because it is newer and it has better features (the s700 has similar features like the k700, with the exception of a better camera, better screen, and expandable memory slot), my heart belongs to the s700. that huge screen is something i can't ignore, although the UI (User Interface) of the s700 is slower than the k750...

i went to the Concept Shop in glorietta last week, and if i may recall correctly, the s700 is priced at around 26,000.00. the k750 is priced at around 24,000.00. be informed that you can also pay them by installment, although it is more costly...

The S700i can be picked up a lot cheaper in the UK now but is and always has been an overpriced handset. IMO there is no way the S700i is worth more than the K750i....forgot to mention as well that if video is an issue to you, the S700i will not play fullscreen therefore negating the video benefit of the big screen.
TBH....it is a close call and the S700i screen is hard to ignore but all things considered it has to be the K750i....a jack of all trades and master of most of them.

i think the direct competitor of the SE k750 is the Nokia N90; the reason being the 2MP camera... but i read a review in another website (http://www.gsmarena.com) saying that the SE k750's camera is still superior to the Nokia N90...

anyway, for the three phones, i will still buy an s700 if i have the money; video not playing full screen is not an issue for me; what i'm after is the unique form factor and the huge screen. i used to own small candybar phones (i.e. SE t68i, SE t610, SE k700i), but now i want to try something different. another thing, i can bear with it's "huge" (as that what other people call it) phone size... be reminded that this is a subjective point of view on my part... ;;)
