well I tried to buy it, but my credit check failed not sure why.

Vodafone just called me and offered me the K750 as a free upgrade on my current contract (Anytime 100). So I took that instead, should have it tomorrow:)

first time I went to a vodafone shop they said the K750 would be a £140 upgrade, then when I phoned for my PAC they said £29, now free:)

Same thing happened when I tried it, twice. There's nothing wrong with my credit rating, Orange gave me a contract a month ago (a C550 which was promptly returned). I think it's some sort of con, to stop people getting such a bloody good deal!

Hmm... o2 website is now showing the W800 as £79.99... Maybe it's generating too much interest!

Dont look at the site, their operators still think its £29.99. i just upgraded to the w800i for £29.99 and got my tariff changed to 500 xnet anytime mins and 500 txts for £15 / month! You just have to haggle with them!

I have now upgraded via the website... was £49.99, which I know is more than some people may have paid, but I downgraded the tariff I'm on so over the course of a couple of months it will have evened out anyway.

I had a couple of emails - one confirming my order and one notifying me that it's been moved to their warehouse for dispatch. If all goes according to plan, it should be with me in 3 working days...

I can't wait! I'll finally be able to ditch my Nokia and no longer be a SE virgin! Hurrah!!

Yep! Now £79.99, a little cheeky. I remember Ebuyer bumping the price on a 512MB Sony memory stick just after I bought it.

Cashing in big time!!!
