cam'ron, surely you can read what was written. I am not expecting the same level of service as they would provide for a phone that was sold in the US. If that was the case then we're talking about only a 7-business day time frame.

The waiting game that you have been put through is now clearing up a bit. The parts are starting to come in quicker. The buffer will be coming in on the 22nd. The US repair centre has to wait for these things to be sent from Sweden, it isn't the repair centres fault. If they had the parts, they would use them.
PS. If anyone has a V800/Z800 or J series phone, don't send them in for repair in NA. They can't repair those. The V800/Z800 actually get sent to Swedish engineers. |

cam'ron, see now if only the USA reps could let me know exactly what you just mentioned, would that be asking for too much? It's easier being patient when one knows what is going on, just saying "Work In Progress" doesn't really help.
I guess in this day and age of information available all over, I've come to expect a modicum level of being kept in the loop.
@miss uk, my mom's not a gadget freak but once she gets the hang of it, she's good to go. Her contract expires in Sept. She'll most likely want to upgrade to a phone, because she digs the UI.

I guess she'll either go for one of the flip phones or dare I say the K750i.

victorh017, did you have to send in a card with the IMEI number as proof of purchase to SE USA for the replacement? where did you send it for service.

I sent it back to X1387's address in WA state. They refunded my full money thru paypal (After almost 3 weeks) and I re-bought it from other seller on ebay.

After 55 days with Solectron, USA's repair center, they sent me a replacement phone yesterday. It arrived today. It's working fine so far! It feels great to use the K750i again.
Of course after some fine testing, I'll need to change the CDA again as it's back to EU_3.

Be careful if you are buying anything from MyWorldPhone.com. I have seen numerous posts of people with bad experiences including myself. You can read my personal experience in this post:

I've had my K750 for a week now.
When my wife bought it from SIMONCELLS.COM, she was assured that it was both unlocked and unbranded. Fact is, it IS branded.... Vodafone, a British service provider.
Simoncells assured me (day 2) that being branded would not interfere with Cingular service but they're wrong there too.... all sorts of problems/conflicts.
Vodafone, SEUS, Sonyericsson service center have been no help.
Presently going round and round with simoncells
The functions of the K750 are awesome and I drooled over it for months before wife bought it for me.
ANYONE have any experience with davinci or any of the "unbranding" services i've seen?
BEFORE BUYING THIS PHONE..... BE SURE IT IS UNBRANDED AND UNLOCKED ( UNLESS IT'S FROM YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER, OF COURSE.) |

That sucks dude! I bought my phone from Buy.com (w800i) it came unlocked, unbranded and works with Cingular (even though i think Cingular Service sucks!!)
Where i live it's predominately 850 mhz freq....so i'm limited on where my phone works , other than that i love the phone!!!

So was anyone successful to send K750i for repair when the phone was bough on eBay. As the lady on the phone said, that they'll need to see proof of purchase.
I am refereeing to NA repairs of course.
Any ides?
