Why do you think its impossible?? The device demoed at JavaOne had a screen about 3.5"

If would be 3inch, not 2.8 it's would be great, but 3.5 I think too good to be true

3.0" - great, but 3.5" would be heaven, i doubt it anyway.

realistically, I'm jealous about web browsing with iPhones 3.5" screen. it's neither too small nor too big. The SE device demoed at JavaOne is a perfect example.

Uiq only supports resolutions up to 240/320 atm. So i'd expect the screen to be 2.8 max.
