I was told i8510 having better pic quality than C905.
I just think we cannot say that until the phones out in their retail package
dont forget i8510 will be 760 Euro price tagged and yes in the next month
all of us heard eldar mention that C905 has samsung Camera and cheap sensor blah blah
just we cannot make a phone loser while it's not out yet
and don't forget the Xenon on C905

Also i read here somewhere that the lens size is smaller in the SAMSUNG???
If that is the case... the quality will differ for sure...

Yeah... the Xenon, you're right. But what is, if Nokia will bring a 8MP-Monster with all of i8510 and Xenon-flash also? ;) You don't have to forget being LG and Nokia also in the Megapixel-Monster-Match =).
2 Hecaro: This info is old, I think?! You said once Hecaro having 16Gig internal + slot? But it doesn't matter... What h we'll see the blurred pic?

the samsung has a smaller focal length...... not sure about other specs of lens/sensor though.....
regarding hecaro, i think pop lover mentioned it had 8gb + card slot some time last week. not 16gb like he has said above.....

Thanks for confirmation >500
In this case the quality will be better on the C905... of course all depending on how good the camera driver is too... so its best till the final models are out before saying which is better...
Cheers

Detailed comparison between SE's flagship and this Samsung phones:
On 2008-07-24 13:39:10, Hiron wrote:
Samsung:
1. Symbian OS 9.3 with S60 3rd edition Feature Pack 2
2. 2.8-inch 16M color display
3. Blink-Detection Camera (prevent taking a photos when your eyes blinked.)
4. 16 GB internal memory, with cheap MicroSD card support
5. 128 MB RAM
6. Dedicated 3D graphics accelerator
7. Stereo speakers, 3D surround sound effect
8. DNSe 2.0, which is Samsung's onboard DSP chip technology
9. 3.5mm audio jack onboard
10. DivX video playback support
11. 1200 mAh battery
12. 16.9mm thickness.
13. 780 euro initial price, august release
C905:
1. Improved A200.
2. 2.4-inch 262K color display
3. N/A
4. 160 MB internal memory, with expensive M2 Card supports
5. N/A
6. N/A
7. Mono speaker
8. No DSP chip onboard
9. N/A
10. N/A
11. 950 mAh battery
12. 19.5mm thickness
13. 500 euro initial price, october release
The thickness of C905 comes from Xenon Flash unit. Samsung lacks Xenon Flash.
And don't forget that Nokia would announces 8 MP Symbian smartphones around september, and releases it one weeks later...
One more thing, since C905 has SonyEricsson logo printed on it's phone body, I will still buy C905. SE logo is everything for SE fanboy
I already posted it in Sony Ericsson 8.1MP C905 Discussion (Shiho) page 65
I'm sorry it's a little bit off topic. But I hope SE would change C905 hardware spec's to more decent in the whitepapers before release date. Still 3 months to go, enough time to made some hardware updates
Thanks for your attention,

Good news! that great specs need faster processor in-order to work properly
So any idea about the new processor Pop Lover?

Thanks for the good news! One with 8Gb and one with 16Gb, both smartphones, apparently, and specs do sound good from what we are hearing so far. Now it depends on the nature of the hardware (overall aesthetics, screen size, touchscreen, processors, keyboards/keypads etc) and the OS (UIQ? WM? S60?). But sounds like we are finally getting what we want here, a smartphone (ideally not WM) with fantastic specs. Here's hoping for at least one of these being released this year! |
