How to save a lot of battery
Instructions
Main menu -> Settings -> Display -> Sleep mode clock -> Off

What it does
If you leave your phone alone for awhile you will notice your screensaver appear. Shortly after the clock will appear. However when u follow the instructions above the clock will not show any more it instead shows a blank screen.
If u wish to view the time just press the volume buttons at the side.

Why do this
For students who are allowed to bring handphones to school. you can just leave it on and if they do a phone check you can show them your phone which shows a blank screen. unless u accidentally press any button. Trust me it comes in very useful

But mainly it's to save battery

Thanks.

and there's a plugin for real player.

The w800 software doesn't sound very impressive after all, thanks for the links anyway

I picked up a K750i a few weeks ago, and there are quite a few things that really bug the crap out of me... it's a cool phone, but the list of things i'd change keeps growing daily.

01 - anyone know how to change the key lock timeout for more than 30 secs?

02 - Can you make a PIN number lock for the keys? (not just the startup lock)

Other small gripes are:

-I don't like the track up/down combo with the volume... too many times I've tried to change the volume and ended up changing tracks.

-(goes with above) FF media player search way too slow, it should get faster incrementally or a feature to skip ahead by minutes.

-Can't use the radio (with speaker) as an alarm clock with the charger plugged in (why couldn't they use the charger cord for an antennae like the headphones?)

-USB data transfer is painfully, cripplingly slow... have to remove the card to really put any amount of data on it.

-needs to be an auto "psudo" flash LED function, so you dont have to scroll through all those steps to turn the LED on and off for a shot.

-of course the non standard headphone plug... when are they going to release the better "in-ear" buds? The stock ones sound good, they just fall out all the time and i lost the pads already.

-we all know the camera looks like crap in any low light, the downside of a cheap CMOS.

-anyone else notice a huge gap inbetween mp3 tracks if you are playing a "mix cd" that is continuously mixed? (it's not how I rip them either) the phone adds extra gaps.

There are a few other things too, but I didnt write them down, i'm sure i'll think of them later... these were the main things bugging me.

Couldn't agree more with you on this one.. watching anything more than a few minutes (unless you watch it in one sitting) is pretty pointless.. All we can do is hope for the next firmware update to bring a solution

Press * while in camera - is that not what you're after?

Some have said the noise only really appeared in later firmwares, along with the reduction in video quality.. Hopefully that means that quality will be improved in later versions

Never noticed this, all my mp3s play without any (noticeable) gap

Hi everybody,

Use Quicktime v6.5 or later for playing 3GPP or MP4 movies.

Hope this help.
