But you still pay the line rental for the year of course, so isn't it the same deal?
Plus doesn't the o2 shop do the whole 'Clawback' thing? |

NO
O2 dosent do the "claw back thing"
How is it the same deal as CPW
O2 is a better deal
Whatever CONTRACT phone you get you still have to pay for 12 MONTHS |

It's the same deal as in you get the phone for free, then change the tariff to the lowest, then just pay for the tariff.
You tell me where it's different then.
(i'll try o2 tommorow also for this scam) |

Try and get one from CPW they DONT HAVE ANY
With O2 you walk in get the phone and walk out
Its all good and well doing good deals but it dont mean SHIT if they havent got the phone

I went to o2 retail shop and they said i can have the phone for free on o2 400.... Going tomo to go and get it from Staines, Middlesex.
but the guy said i cannot change down for the first 3 three months..... was he just saying it cos they don't want to lose their commision or was he telling the truth..... o2 store in Uxbridge said 6 months.
Anyone one tried downgrading it sooner yet?
Thanks.

I havent changed my tariff yet
I was told i had to wait for all the documents to come from O2 before i could upgrade or downgrade my tariff because it takes a couple of days for O2 to set up an accont for me |

I dont think the 02 deal works out cheaper, even if you change after the first month as their lowest tariff is 15 and oranges is 10.
O2 - (45 x 1) + (15 x 11) = £210
Orange (10 x 11) + (few days on yp1000 = £10-£20) = £120 - £130
Also the orange branding isnt that bad, all it is, is the logo on the phone and the mms, wap\gprs settings already installed which if your already on orange is perfect. |
