Hey, thanks.
I will be adding a donation button, around version 0.90. M3 is currently just an alpha version, and not everything works properly, so it's a bit cheeky expecting donations for something that's broken in places.
sometime before version 0.90 i'll also be adding a full manual. So that'll include a quickstart guide, and a full description of every option in M3. It'll also include some troubleshooting tips, for when things don't work as you'd expect them to.
Like i said though, M3 is currently alpha, and not intended for widespread use. Anyone using it currently is just helping to test it out really, even if they're not aware of that.

That's what i'm working on now, version 0.87 will have DVD Title conversion. Expect it in a day or two.
Basically you put the DVD in the drive, select the title to convert (like the main movie, or an episode if it's a TV series dvd), and M3 will convert it.
You can also select the audio language to use, and optionally to select the subtitle language to include too.
very simple to use, but rather difficult to code it all, believe me! I can see why nobody else has made a DVD-to-mobile converter, it's rather complicated.

cheers syntheticsoul
vob support is the same as DVD support isn't it? i mean DVD's are just a bunch of vob files.
To get a bit technical, perhaps you mean converting vob files that have no IFO file with them? That kind of works, but you lose things like program chain selection, audio language selection, and subtitle selection.
To put it another way, if you want to convert vob files with version 0.87, the vob files need a matching IFO file too. Perhaps in later version i'll look at re-indexing (recreating IFO) for orphaned vob files. |

you need to go to the video tab, and change
"widescreen video:"
to "crop 16:9 sides to 4:3"
and it'll make your (532x222) widescreen video show as fullscreen on the phone. |

There is a guide page that comes with the program..before you launch it, look for the home page among the options... |
