@Mizzle
Will we see a Cyber-shot phone with 3.2MP camera, K800's lens, and A200 platform? Say, replacement for K810.

no one is ever satisfied. the N95 placated a few but we all thought that SE had a response, what did we get the P1i. this is the same company i dont know why everyone is giddy. im only voicing my dissent because i more than anyone want to give SE my money to have an outlandishly featured fone, who cares about the total market, and if thats your focus then help those who got you to your position in the first place SE! give us an uberphone one a year, and dont skimp on the frequencies:

everything including GPS/HSDPA 7.2 numbers not seen in phones right now, brighten the horizon for all of us waiting. i want to have to dig my jaw out of the crater it made from dropping so hard. AMAZE US.

but they wont, they are too bloated to see the real potential in leading the industry vs following the industry. its a sad day when SE lost its focus ... AND release their phones EXTRA EXTRA late

W960 end of Dec, the replacement should be out BY march, they need to fall back in line with an earlier year release. this late year "surge" for the holidays is nice with them hard. they didnt sell many phones, they no longer stand out.

they need a face that says hey, thats an SE celly, a statement in versatility and stability.

Nope. There is no reason for to create such a phone.

Replacement? Fill the gap in portfolio, may be?

There is no gap in the portfolio. The jump from K800/K810 to K850 was bound to happen. Sure, there'll most likely be yet another 3.2 megapixel CyberShot phone, but making use of A200 instead of A100, it won't be a successor to K800/K810 as K850 is the successor. If such a phone is announced, it'll probably also have a lower index number than K800. So, I'm not really getting your point of the question.

@darknoob

maybe that was supposed to be k850i face-lift once, but if I understood things right, I think it won't have the k850i style d-pad, so the must have redesigned at least the front.

ps: blogspot doesn't alow hotlinking, so your images don't show up

AFAIK only changes in design. Probably a little enhancement on the cam considering an optical zoom.
As I've been told the design will be much better and with a less extraordinary D-pad solution.
