To all peoples who have the R1DA038:
whether in new firmware corrected [added] service of the stereo transmitter from SE? I have such, is acting with all current [750/w800, k800 and k810], but not around k850 but cannon he alike receivers, he is uncovering and a free frequency permits to place and then he is handing over to the transmitter [but inside constructed plug like in hpm 70], only, around if I am connecting under k850 he isn't uncovering the equipment generally speaking and he is certainly acting because when I am connecting the transmitter from k850 to usb it is uncovering the phone
PS: Sorry for my bad eng. |

I only have a total of 21 music files only 20.9 megabyte, maybe someone else who has a lot and is using 038 might be able to advise better than me.
I got the phone in the expectation that it would blow the k800i away with improved camera and more hp in the 5mpx camera, mainly for photographs and im sorry to say the k800i imo is still a better picture taker especially in dark places so sad
Yes same opinion as you... My old k800i had better pictures at night. Let's way to others firmware update hope all be fixed.. If we remember K800i had a lot of bugs also...in the begin... |

Still no news?Hope that SEUS would release the R1DA038 soon...sad....
My radio transmiter would show the channel name....Only if RDS is on...
So far,no major bugs for me,only java-less for the time moment...
Hope to see the new firmware...the pictures are better in K800i coz it got no light sensor to be interfered with...K850i got this "smart" light sensor to determine how much flash to discharge....so if your pictures turn dark, don't blame it on 037 or 038,blame on your finger covering/hindering the light sensor...even though by "a bit",it is very2 sensitive...try to take photos with the technique they illustrated for us in the manual.....Hope it will help....
Its the skill/technique error/fault not the machine itself.... Cheers!

I have a problem with charging the battery. On the battery status after fully charged shows 99%. Battery indicator is not blinking and fully charged on the display. Is this bug of current version of firmware - 037? |

This bug has been around since day one, both on 029 and 037.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that still has the camera bug. Only tried taking one picture though so though it might just be something I was doing wrong, it would seem not though.
Roll on the next firmware update....... |

You mean "downdate" the first page.
R1CA029 was the very first released firmware. Anyway, it's there...

I had to master reset my phone last night as after flashing it to 038 it would go from the standby screen to the screensaver and then just constantly display the screensaver with the backlight on full.
The battery life ain't brilliant in this phone but I wondered why it was draining in under a day! Still the only changes I have noticed is slightly better camera performance and slightly faster Media Manager (using the media player while trying to do anything else with the phone is still a chore)! |

Hi, loaded 038 onto my O2 K850 yesterday with no issues. Haven't checked to much out but here are some of the things I have noticed:
1. Now have options on how much details to display in SMS list
2. Still no option to have pictures date stamped (my K800 had it - again, why did SE waste time changing the FW to remove this in the first place, it's supposed to be a cybershot afterall).
3. Camera/flash issue still not totally corrected. Beginning to wonder if this is a firmware issue or maybe just crap design (having a xenon flash is why I chose this over others phones - god knows what SE are playing at)
4. The 037 firmware would run with an 8Gb HDSC card with 6Gb of music but was painfully slow - 038 doesn't appear to have changed much
5. When deleting a picture from within Media, it seems to re-index, and with an 8Gb card this takes a long time (this didn't happen with 037).
6. Not sure if this is new, but scolling between pictures in Media has changed to fast moving/expanding image each time which looks quite good.
