That is funny. We never knew the whole story to that though. Maybe they will get another device and call it P10 and thats it, rather than Paris. Who knows. |

I would guess that the touchscreen monster will probobly be the Beibei equivilent to G900 i.e. with GPS. Instead of having the G702 and G902, there will probobly be a single device and my thoughts are that the Beibei pic we saw recently would be that. It was thicker than the original Beibei if you look closely.
Also, I bet we will see a phone that looks identical to Paris but with new hardware. A Walkman version of X1 would be crap if it was WM, under all the flashy Walkman UI, you would have to pull out the stylus and that would be uncool. |

He said it was based on BeiBei so one would assume that means a similar form factor meaning standard candybar.
I hope though that they upgrade a few things though since the BeiBei protos like autofocus on the camera and Triband HSDPA. SE has not given North America a UIQ device since the P910a and that was over 4 years ago.

Agreed, however, SE has gotten things to a point where we will be happy to get back to the P990 screen size.
I really have trouble understanding SE's logic. From the P990 onward, SE has continuously regressed in their hw specifications with the exception of RAM. The little things that made SE what they are have gradually disappeared from their models (both hw & sw). They need to start using their own phones and introduce those deleted features back in the new models. |

Interesting. I always liked Beibei's design. Give me Beibei with the G900's camera and I'll be happy. I'll even forgo 3G if need-be.

 showed a rather weak 2nd quarter this year and was lodged out of the 4th place in ranking among the mobile makers.
will rely on the walkman 16gigs, UIQ cybershot, T650 upgrade and hecaros (plus the announced c905) to carry the torch in the 2nd half of '08.
this "remi" phone is T610 reborn, isn't it? it is not yet the T650 upgrade, right?

Similar to how Remi is based on the W890 platform? Either way, it's exciting to me. Announcement this month is great too. I just hope the camera is improved. |
