The document is dated June 16th, apparently SE have made decision to cancel it close to that date.

if you think about the consequence of not releasing the beibei
ignoring the software side
- you'll lose the jogdial that wasn't very popular in Japan anyway, not popular enough for them to bring it to all the new models they just announced 2 weeks ago
- you'll lose the tiny keypad and cramped control row
- you'll lose the so-so camera and so-so thickness
and you'll settle with the C902, and G900
which are thin, with reasonably good cameras, conservative designs
and they are already being shipped NOW
why do you still miss the Beibei then? perhaps something else that we can't see because the power isn't on most of the time in pictures
let's not make the same Nokia mistake when they announced the first models in their E series.
___________
just a side note on the c905 sample pictures, which will pop up more and more in the coming weeks-months
bear in mind that some of the handsets in europe (and taiwan) right now are of an older firmware
those on display at singapore right now are newer, you can see that the indoor performance is a lot better, and the purple tint under cloudy lighting is gone. there're still some obvious bugs with the camera menu though.

I guess that Beibei will be victimized in favour of a better speced handset that will have a different form factor...
There's something in the pipeline - and it will be out in August/September

Well IF there is a new phone in the pipeline, looking at the flow of conversation I would think mone is referring to a new UIQ phone. Otherwise it's not worth mentioning IMO. |

*sigh*...
I don't really care about announcements at this point. All I hope for is a flagship UIQ super high end phone that will be available for purchase by september. I want it to have support for all american bands, a decent camera, gps and hopefully a vga resolution screen.
Come on SE... i know you've got one up your sleeve. just make sure it's out by september...
