Cheers hobs, build prop trick does the job, must say though that the app is very hit and miss, closes itself quite a lot.
Think I'll be changing roms to slim ics with that latest siyah kernel, heard good things from that rom, for me I havent yet experienced anything better than checkromv6 HD. Battery life hasnt been great on ressurection with dark night kernel (pretty shocking actually)so hoping slim ics will be better.
I've been experiencing the phone doing into deep sleeps and when I turn it back on its dropped from 98% to 14% :S

Btw, if anyone wants to improve their GPS lock speed, install this patch

Miui rom all the way for me.I don't even think I'm gonna give Checkrom ICS a testrun.
DarkKnights kernel recovery is f@#ked.Thats why I won't ever try it again. (Its most probably fixed now) but its left a bad taste in my mouth.
Resurrection who?????
Good luck with the Slim ICS rom.Hope it lives up to your expectations.

I'm glad you're liking it. Shame its quite laggy compared to GB MIUI. Im using Paranoid ROM and I can change the density of every app seperately. I can also choose to have phone or tablet mode on every app. Battery life is great.

Running resurrection remix 1.9.1 with the latest siyah kernel.
Performance is great, apps are all how I want them, and everything is working

@Hobbs
I tried MIUI but didn't like the iPhone style interface, I prefer the ICS style look of Apex Launcher

Im glad you've also found a rom that makes you happy. Looks cool.
Lag? Thats never been an issue with my MIUI rom.Its just gotten better and better. The funny thing is that with the way this rom looks Ive gone the opposite direction and taken the density up to 260. Loving the way my phone looks and feels.
Have simplified thing and have the bare essentials of apps I need and I have them spread across my homescreens aka iphone style
Dont use widgets anymore.

Just installed Windows 8 Customer Preview on my PC.Its gonna be a long night for me setting it all up.
Who knows it might even inspire me to go buy a Lumia 900

Windows 8 is beautiful.Screw what all those old die hard dinosaur windows fans say.

I did with Resurrection and CM9.Then MIUI came along without an app drawer so I tried out icons across home screens and liked it and then tried an iPhone theme and loved it.Im like the weather so next week my phone will most probably look like WP.
