ammm maybe somebody can check for me one thing ... If of course have HBH-ds980 ... Because when a listening music and want to call to someone push the button on remote to open phonebook (during mp3 is on) and the music goes off but when i finished dialing and so on ... i can`t go back to listening music without reset phone :/

Me, too  Especially because the generic ones are also on EMMA as well as the branded ones are. Just don't get why they've released the branded ones first.

I guess nowdays thing are changing. The network ones come first I would guess, because of their customers?
Anyway, it's kind of sad (or funny) how bunch of people is waiting for this new fw release.. Could relate to iPhone shopping frenzy when it was released, hehe.. |

I think that there are more users with generic phones than branded ones.

for me funny is that only we look at the phone in this way People use phones to text and calling We look at our phones in "sick" way But i like it That`s something i`m interested in So New firmware is like a new dress for ours wifes,girlfriends and so on ;D

a question !! is the redish in some of the pic fixed ??
Ya man,been some time,very2 bz with work and my newborn....
Its been from k750i,k800i,dopod d810/htc p3600i and now k850i....the "K" series seems to be running in my blood....hehe,compared with my wife's 6500 slide,k850i is me superior...hehe,3.2m with a 5m....not a good comparison aka sparring partner....hehe.... 
Seems that the camdriver can't be hacked into yet....hehe(havent tried doing so....)

btw,when can i update to the R1DA038 firmware?Till now,i still cant access my games and apps...it will say "operation failed...."....
Just updated to 037 yesterday,just wish that could update it to 038 today...btw im on apac anz...im locat in singapore aka sin city....

When you update the software you still will get the same error, You have to take the phone back to a service cnt and asked them to complete reflash the phone, this is the only way round it.

The release of the firmwares onto the SEUS server is not as straight forward or the same as what is on EMMA server.
SEUS firmwares only update partial parts of the software on the phone, EMMA updates everything.
SEUS can take upto 4 weeks from the first firmware being placed onto SEUS.
Regarding branding of firmware, o2, t-mobile and vodafone already approved the firmware and this is why theres is on allready on for the customers to update as i would beleive that they are getting a high returns rate which inturn puts pressure back on SE to fix it.

Just updates to R1DA038.
A few changes I've noticed is when u open the picture browser using the camera button on the side of the phone the camera lens no longer opens.
Also when u delete a picture in this mode it no longer freezes on this picture untill u press left or right, it now moves onto the next pic. And when u leave it on a picture in this mode and the screen goes off cuz u dont do anything for a while if you press left or right it now continues from where u were instead of freezing and having to close and re-open the pic browser.
Some other changes I've notices are u can now choose to only display the message sender in the inbox/sentbox instead of having the first line of the txt displayed aswel, and when u do this it doesnt display the first line of the txt on the homescreen either!! Things seem to be slowly improving on the k850i |
