Thanks for the info Lollylost.This the first MIUI rom I've used so any tips and tricks are welcome.Must say I have no lag issues at all.Maybe messing with your build.prop files messed things up. 
All these screenshots and user experiences must be boring the hell out of you.If it is just tell me to shut up 
When I find something I like and think is pretty awesome I like to share.It helps for anyone who is going to try a custom rom to get a clearer picture of the rom before they flash it. (there are so many roms out there to choose from so it helps to give as much information I think as possible)
OK,I've run 10 Quadrant Standard benchmark test and here is my Lowest score and some of my Highest scores.9 runs scored over 4000 (the highest been 4184) and 1 run scored 3995.We have lift-off
 
 
Best Quadrants I've gotten in a long time.I used to get these kinda scores with the G2 on Gingerbread running Checkrom Revo HD.Consistent.No big drops or rises.

PS. Go into the messaging app and then its settings and untick 'Recommended tab'.Its only useful for chinese prople. |

I have an upgrade in 14 days but the way things are going with my G2 I think I can happily terminate and pass on the G3.
Ok,so I also ran 10 Antutu Benchmarks and its pretty much the same.Very consistent scores.Lowest score 6294 and all other 9 runs over 6300 the highest been 6351.
 
 
So far MIUI 2.5.11 is living up to my expectations.And the fact that everything works and theres no need to constantly be out there looking for fixes for issues or finding workarounds is a welcomed relief.

I'm back to stock ROM, sadly (XWLPD). The battery life on custom ROMs is absolutely ridiculous. Only on Stock ROM I get half decent battery life. |

As Lollylost said the Theme Manager doesn't change throughout the system but for me thats ok because I quite like the white/orange system menu's.
 
Changes after are a different lockscreen wallpaper,different homescreen wallpaper,different icons and a different font.I've looked at the Mixed online downloads like status bar,sms,dialer ect and there are no offerings of a download.
You also have the choice to apply theme without changing to the font that comes with the theme.

MIUI Updater on the phone is very user friendly and straight forward.Fire up the Updater app,if an update is needed it will give you the option of an OTA download.(Use wifi because it is a 211mb download) Once downloaded apply the update,phone reboots,flashes it and BAM you are on the latest release.Very cool.And don't forget always make a backup of your rom before in case something goes wrong.I never bothered just because I was impatient but it is always a good idea.
Trying to track down the change log to see exactly what has changed but I can already say its definitely zippier.
 
One thing that suprises me about MIUI is my Quadrant scores.This update my Quadrant has hit 4256 and never goes below 4000.Very impressive.

Couldnt install either.Removed Voice Talk and then it installed fine.Hope that works for you.

First attempts at sending a text message and making a call worked flawlessly.Nice 
But its not a very happy app so far on the S2.Think I need to read up a bit more how to make it a happy app.I think someone said that it should be installed as a system app.Maybe will try that.

Just did the Memo command.Worked great.Only problem is when it saves the memo it saves it to S Memo and I dont have S Memo (Galaxy Note) SO where does that saved note go? Looks like the Memo command is rendered useless.
