Look at page 6 of the C905 thread. You can clearly see that it is A2 in those photos.

Well, as I mentioned many many posts ago, it seems SE have shot themselves in the foot yet again by delaying a Top End product. And Apple, it seems, will lap up from this mistake!
So, unless SE announce Paris very very soon, and with some WORTHY specs, for me come mid July it will be the iPhone 3G.
Any idea when their new line-up will be in the shops?

I think SE didn't quite expect the overall positive response to G900/G700. Given this fact, SE feels obligated to let these phones settle in the market first before announcing UIQ phones of superior specs (i.e., Beibei and Paris).
Today is bittersweet, though. We were all rooting for Paris, but what can you do? I was hoping for a killer announcement like the one we had in February. At least we have Shiho which more than makes up for the low-end madness. |

nooooooooooo! i really hoped i can see more than one high-end phone! which is really strange because the p10 and g702 pages are still working, so it must be near, but when?!
anyway, the c905 looks promising, its c905/x1/w980 for me! |

@scouser_75 and jalf
I hear what you're saying and it is frustrating.
On the one hand Apple only have 1 phone to develop, manufacture and sell so they have a very easy job in targetting a sector of the market.
on the other hand have an almost impossible job of developing phones for all segments from low end to high end, so they are at a disadvantage compared to Apple.
If you're in the market for a smartphone your choices are more limited and it's easy to see the appeal of the 3G iPhone. Certainly announcing in June and availability in July is something we can only dream of with
At this point it time though it does seem that have lost their focus on the high end segment of the market |

I have a low end phone for now. If nothing really wows me this year, then I may prepare myself to wait even for UIQ4 befor buying. I just dont know how long its gonna take for SE to come up with a product desgined to meet the needs of the portion of the market into which I fall. Moreover, the more the competitors come up with enticing solutions, the less appeal SE will have without an equally enticing product of their own. They still have some time, I hope they also have the aces up their sleeve. |

For me just a little time of waiting is left for a Pseries successor.
Honestly, if it's not appearing soon, SE will just see my middle finger lol.
It's June, over a year after P1.
Fashion toys announced instead. A little annoying.
And of course I don't know SE plans but what they miss is a real Symbian flagship/multi device (what Pseries was supposed to bring), since the all UiQ range is OLD (nice but outdated). I mean we still don't have HSDPA, Flash etc.
We have a super-duper camera instead. Well, I'm not the photo artist....
So, where is the Pnext and other smartphones? SE's feature phones are well developed now.
I hope all this is not a bad sign...

Annoying, to say the least
Thanks, Mizzle, for preparing us for this.
