The old Ericsson phones still floating around is 99% replacement units from Ericsson. They keep a stock of them in case they get a repair that's beyond all hope. As the models are phased out, the replacement units become redundant, and is also phased out and sold.
About battery performance: The old (model) phones I own all have flawless batteries, maybe Im just lucky but it seems like its use, not age that matters most..
Oh, and if anyone want help dealing with Mobilvasa I will be happy to assist in any way!
Cheers!

At r250 pro the walkie talkie feature was a great and usefull idea, unfortunately non of the operators in my country supported it. On some way the gh and 6xx, 8xx could be seen as the sharkfin aswell, cos of the very stable and massive construction.

don't have that problem with my T65. its been heavely used for 1.5years. only problem is that the /// logo cam lose, had to glue it back on.
ah yes the ericsson communicator. this was the P800's mother. you can see clearly that the OS is just the same as the symbian OS today. again i think that /// made the biggest tribute to the symbian OS.

yeah i had the same problem with my t65, it used to switch off randomly. very annoying.
but, i found a really low tech solution. i stuck a small piece of folded paper between the sim holder and the phone, which made the holder grip the slot a whole lot better!! lol
the guy i sold the phone to later was like.. what the hell is this!!
lol
yeah my /// sticker fell off as well!!!
and i must say the t65 was one of the most hardy phones around. it fell out of my pocket onto the road when i was riding a bike, at almost 80 km/h.
lets see the k700 or p910 survive one of those falls! |
