I found that the local GEAB/Phonehouse store sells the Bluespoon Digital for 150 Euro, about £100 or $150 (1495 SEK), but they did not have any in the store. I asked them to order one for me, it should arrive this week.

Is there any problem with this headset (I will be using it with my SE T610). Expansys still sells it for £270, about the same price as the local Phonehouse store had before.

Can it really be true that nobody here has tried the BSD? Or are you just shy?

Floke & Laffen: I did search and read the posts but did not find much interesting. I thought maybe some more people have tried and and have something to say.

I also wanted to inform people, here in Sweden at least, about the opportunity to get this headset at a very good price.

@jadler: That is really a good price. DO you have confirmation that you can buy it for that price... to me it sounds like they mixed up digital and chameleion versions?
Maybe I should run off to Phonehouse too...

If you read through the threads you'll find a lot of opinions. Its not always written on the first page

Not confirmed yet, I have not bought it. I talked to the manager of my local store, and he ordered one with the intention of selling it to me at that price. I have done business with him before and I think he will sell it to me at the agreed price even if there is some mistake made.

If you want one, go to your local store and give it a try.

Update:
Now confirmed. Bought one Nextlink Bluespoon Digital (silver, no other option) for SEK 1499 (about 160 euro, £110, $200) this afternoon. Paired up with phone and computer, battery charging until tomorrow morning. I did not even have to argue about the price, it was as if this is their list price.

I'll say it again: If you live in Sweden and want one of these, go to you local Phonehouse store and ask for the price, now...

& Floke &c -- I am not that a newbie, with forums or this specific forum... I did search and look at all pages of the threads that seemed relevant. Nothing much there, since I wanted to now if there is a) some major flaw with this headset, or b) some new improved ultracheap thingy coming along. Something that would explain the >50% price drop. Found nothing, so I asked and simultaneously informed other readers about this opportunity (that you seem to be interested in).

If I will only get cynical comments when sharing good information and asking good questions, I may not want to share my info the next time I find something good.

@jadler: Nice to hear that you have received your Bluespoon. How does it work? Please post your opinion about it so that we can make this into a "experience" thread
Have you or the other side experienced any echo?
I called them and they confirmed the price so this really must be their new price.

I'm sorry if you were offended by the but many posters simply dont bother using search. But I shoul have done it the way laffen did: giving a couple of links instead.

Looking forward to your and others opinion about Bluespoon Digital

I have not talked very much yet, really, but so far it has worked just fine. I find it quite comfortable, I have read that others do not. Wearing it for an hour or so is no problem for me, except that it feels weird to be close to deaf on the right ear.

It is difficult to turn it off, which is done by pressing both "buttons" at once. Pressing one a fraction of a second before the other activates telephone voice dial, so it usually takes a few attempts.

I wish it had either a small loop for attaching a neck band, or a hard case with a belt loop, or maybe both. Now I carry it in a soft pouch in a pocket in my jacket, and in the summer I will not know where to keep it when not in my ear.

All in all I like it.

No echo, sounds just fine (in my end, have not asked other person what it sounds like).

Nice to hear
But you'd better ask them for their experience. In my experience people tend not to complain about voice quality until its very bad!

Yesterday I picked one up too. I charged 12 hours and it and this morning I paired it with my t68i R8A015.
The sound was definately better than the HBH-20 I had before but it had some crackles and pops.
However, the battery on it only lasted for about 15 min speech before it died. Is this normal?

I've used the Bluespoon Digital for a while now and I am pretty satisfied with it. You can keep it in your ear for a long time without it being annoying. The sound quality I experience is as good as if I was using the phone. One problem seems to be the Bluetooth reception. If I keep the t68i in my jeans pocket during conversation I normally get crackle and pops. If I take the phone out of the pocket the connection seems to be much better and the crackle and pops disappears.
The person on the other side hears a somewhat distorted and unnatural sound. It sound like as if the speaker was sitting in a can!?
It doesn't affect understanding though.
The volume of my voice is also fairly low.

If you've taken a shower, dont use Bluespoon until you've cleaned all water out of your ear. Otherwise you wont hear anything

I have been using the Bluespoon digital for about 2 weeks, prior to that I was using a Jabra BT200, which was OK but did not have the batteries to last all day. I was using SE P800 and a Nokia 6600.
My digital is on it's way back to Denmark for testing from Australia.
My digital would only give me about 1.5-2 hours talk time and after 1.25-1.5 hours the low battery beep would start which is really annoying during a call, their must be a better way to do that.
Standby time was not good either typically 4 hours then drops off the phone.
I tried everything to sort this problem out with no success, software and hardware resets etc.

I like the weight and feel both excellent and I hope the battery problem gets sorted.
If you are resident outside the EU like me, 3-4 days to get it to Denmark, 2 days testing and then the return flight plus the cost of returning it at my expense. Maybe I should have gone the Jabra BT250.
All up I will lose it for a week plus and I am out of pocket A$50.
