O2 stop selling k750i (temporarily) |

just went into the o2 store in leicester at lunch today (20th) and they told me that they wouldn't be getting any k750i's until at least next week. 
oh well... good job my k700 is working at the moment! |

Called O2 online this morning and have ordered 2 replacements for my freezing K750is. Will be with me in 2-3 days, they have the new firmware and I have to return my old ones within 21 days or I will be charged for them.

Just phone O2 order line and got told "there are some K750i in stock" and then phone customer services and got told that there "are no phones instock and will not be til 4th July"
Wat the hell are they playing at  So i sed but on the O2 website just this weekend it said that the phone would be delivered to people this week n she jus told me i was imagining it 
Can someone else confirm that i havnt made it up............ |

ctimmy21 have u had the k750i before i mean this a new replacement one u waiting for or your 1st k750i? personally if its ur 1st k750i, i would wait untill all bugs are sorted out before ordering the k750i. |

there is none in stock i just phoned the upgrade line again, god they r taking the piss ill have the broken one ill update the firmware myself!! it easy enough! |

its my first K750i but i ordered it on the 6th of june.
The main problem i have is my phone has packed in, SE T300, its finally died on me Had it a good 2 years. so need my phone now as i have a job interview coming up and they said they will text me with the time lol. but my phone gives me texts 3 or even 4 days late. |

HAHA - just rang o2 spoke to a lovely girl called ruth. Have just ordered my new k750i should get in 3-5 days. If u read my last few posts you will know i got a discount off my phone bill...
£15 off this month and £5 off the next 3 months
Now they've just upped it to £5 off the next 12months... NOT BAD!!!
Will let you know if i get it.

My O2 store didn't know when the revised phones were coming in (manager i spoke to)...they said they might be in tomorrow but couldn't confirm.
Asked her if O2 would be offering me something by way of compensation for hassle...told "No"
Can't cancel my contract too now cos its lapsed over the 14 days...damn!!! Might phone O2 customer services and get some freebies that way

Why cant you cancel? They havent provided the service you agreed to, so they cant hold you to a contract that they havent legally fulfilled!
I am going to call them today, I am getting a bit annoyed at this, they have taken off the notice about the phone being in stock on the 20th and now are telling people July?! They dont call you to inform you of this, nor does it get put on your online order tracker (which then seems redundant as a tracker..). Obviously new customers are getting the first batch of phones and us mere upgrades will have to wait....
Looking like the w800 is getting closer and closer but will most likely be a fiasco like the k750. |

I will be very interested to hear what they tell you.
I myself ordered one last week, completely unaware of this fiasco and am very upset. If my phone doesnt materialise this week I will just be cancelling my order, I wont be tricked into taking another phone in order for them to keep my contract, why not wait, you ask ?
Well they promised me a phone to be delivered on thursday of last week and just sent me an out of stock e-mail instead.
Why were they offering next day delivery when they had no stock (or none that functioned) ? not only that but O2 are *still* selling the phone online, so if they dont have stock in during this week they are selling goods to people online which they definately know they cant deliver !
They only get this one chance because the customer services response via e-mail was quick and polite and I dont want to hastily add *another* operator to my list of companies I wont deal with.
Most of all, theyve ruined my fun !
