no, but a great deal of islam is rooted in christianity. if you look back a couple of pages you'll see O2 discussing it.

also, i gave my own theory of wars on page 7.

sumthing like that...

There are alot of similarities between Islam, juduism and christianity...

For one we all believe the same prophets... jesus(Isa for us), moses (Moosa for us) abraham (Ebrahim for us) etc...

just ( I stand to be corrected) the jews main prophet is moses, jesus for the christians and Mohamed (SAW) for the muslims...

If you believe in god, you can see him even now. I think religion begins when you have realised something. It is not believing in doctrines or giving intellectual assent or making declarations. @kbr, i guess there are something uncannily common things between islam christianity and hinduism. For example, we have brahma- the creator which when rearranged can be read as abraham! Or saraswati, the godess of knowledge which sounds a bit like sarah! Coincidence? Maybe.

@sean, i think he's misinterpreted. it's not that man was made from water and fire, it's that the first image of man was made from clay using water and fire.

there are also different interpretations such as, the human body has alot of water within it to sustain it's own life, and without our body heat (fire) we could not survive.

Hope that clears things up.
