Masseur has left a massive hole here and esato just seems empty and barren without him, I always looked for his threads and posts and now we have nothing.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I wish you and your family all the best. What you created here is unlike anything else. Great respect for that. Thank you. |

Hope all is ok at the moment masseur. I am sure you'll secretly read this at some point. My dad survived a heart attack on Sunday he will be ok. Just makes you think when these terrible things happen.

Hi all,
Like many of the old time members i really don't visit here very often if ever and not even sure why i did today or how i stumbled upon this thread but to say I'm shocked and saddened is an understatement. I was privileged enough to have met the Big M on a few occasions to buy and sell phones from each other and as others have already pointed out you couldn't wish to meet a nicer person IRL you truly were and are one of the good ones. My posts here also managed to keep you busy and on your toes but i would have to say i was always treated fairly and with respect as that was just the type of person you are and how you dealt with everyone.
My thoughts go out to you and your family and hope you get to enjoy to the full what time you have left and that you don't suffer and have an easy passing. You will be missed and remembered by many both here and IRL and that truly is a sign of greatness. I really don't know what else can be said as words never seem to be enough except again it was a pleasure and a privilege to have known you and you will be missed by many.

Knowing masseur when he meant "Goodbye and farewell" he really did mean it,would have been out of character for him to PM someone privately and not say a few words here however the only person likely to know anything about masseur right now would be laffen. |

I don't think I can improve or better anybody's words in here but I do hope you enjoy everything you do from now on be it a walk or a meeting with friends.
I don't really know you and sadly now I never will but all I can wish for you is the best in the rest of what you do.

I'm not sure what to say about this... I'm so shocked just after reading the first post... Is this the harshness of real life? I can't believe it myself, All I can do right now was to pray for you. I'm just a typical esato user here but your name is imprinted to our memories every time we read your posts. To be honest I even wished to see you personally just like other users here that became closed to me, to know who you really are. Well It's been counted times that I said I hated being left by the people I know, but life constantly tells me to just face it as it is inevitable. I was so sad and shocked reading this... I can only offer you my prayers. My sincerest prayers for you @Masseur

Holy! This is going to be one of my long posts, but please bare with me on this.
I kind member, Marly brought this thread to my attention. After your first post Masseur my own disbelief kicked in ... then after a moment I internally felt like an ass for even doubting this to be serious. I deeply apologize for my thoughts.
Many of you may not know it but Masseur, in the early stages of this forum have helped guide, mould, and even helped many of us older members. Helping to show how to use Ericsson's free engineering APN, the first FREE & public (beta) IMAP server available globally "myrealbox.com" and even began the contests here.
Although I'd like to say "Farewell & godspeed in the next few years/months" ... It would be rude of me to do so.
Instead, like a former great HipHop artist said about his long lost friend/member, Heavy D ... I'd offer "through all your travels I'm wishing you a peaceful journey". To put it another way ... you now have a LOT of time to enjoy life ... do ANYTHING you DREAMED you wanted to do ... even what us Adults would call 'childish' (Ride a Fire Truck shotgun pumping the horn, put on that 1 light siren in a Towncar - in North America resembles a police car - and pull someone over for laughs, order a stripper for the boss at work on the last day for a hilarious time with those you work with, etc etc).
The point I'm trying to say is that you will be missed, VERY MUCH, and I hope you get to take a few pictures ... to show us that even though you've been given something horrible, that something much MUCH more powerful has always been there:
commadorie, the Love of your friends and loved ones, and those whom you've helped and inspired them to help others.
Happy swimming, fishing, tanning ... surfing, and rubbing your toes in the sand good buddy!!
