I think I read somewhere that SGS2 does not get hot to the touch. I might have the wrong phone though.
I believe that just like the mega pixel race that seems to have more or less halted at 8mp so to will the "thinnest race" slow or stop somewhere "sensible." But for now I like it.

The mega pixel race eh well what about the new HTC 16 meg phone?? Bit OTT for a mobile even though I myself have a 16 mega pixel Sony HX7 camera which is excellent. But in a mobile as Nokia and Sony Ericsson have proved 12 mega pixels can be done well. But yes 8 mega pixels is more than enough in a phone.

certainly a great device, i was wondering to wait and watch to compare with htc sensation, however now with the pictures over your post, everything is crystal clear and i am going to have it for sure. |

Yeah I read about the HTC 16mp cam-phone. It is well over the top if you ask me. The next iteration of the Galaxy s should have a great new design that wow's the eyes from a far.

I am going to buy one for a friend of mine who prefers it over the SGS2. I might have to have someone pick up one there in the UK.
I am interested in which would perform and outsell the other. My money is on the SGS2

Definately/Maybe  There is another upcoming HTC with similar specs as the Galaxy S II I forgot the model number though.

although I often did WM devices, I don't have interest yet for android ROMs, or even rooting so I'll be interested in anything useful or interesting in this ROM

I have to say that I look at the iphone 4 screen, and then the S II screen and am in awe. As good as the iP4 screen is actually, size does matter!... but I find myself wishing moreso that the iphone 4 had a larger screen rather than wishing the S II had iOS, and as yet... as good as the S II is, and despite the smaller iP4 screen, I still find myself using the iphone 4 alot more.

The SAMOLED plus screens too have very bright strong saturated colours and amazing blacks. Other screens look pale compared.
