i think they are using the same type of panels used in arc and neo so it will have poor viewing angles just like the arc and the neo |

We will see better Screens, colour, viewing angle, Etc etc in the next gen Bravia Engine-2 Maybe 2012 Handsets.
Like LCD,S-LCD,Super AMOLED,Super AMOLED Plus Etc Etc
Like the Sony Bravia TV i guess they have 3rd Gen Screen.

Bad viewing angle gives you more privacy. I don't want everyone to see what i'm doing.

Am I the only one here who does not understand the fuss about viewing angles?? Am I the only one who looks at a phone screen straight on?? Why would you wanna view the screen at an angle I don't get it.

I agree. I don't see the appeal of viewing my phone's screen at a very awkward angle. Do you really want people to see what are you texting?
I could go for the Mini. Perfect phone for me. Neo is an overkill for my needs.

I guess the only way a viewing angle would come in handy would be for taking a photo at an angle but otherwise I see no need

i agree.
The white pro is drop dead gorgeous, i want it now. actually i was very angry neo is delayed as i sold my x8 to get it before it was delayed but now , thanks god i waited ,now i am skipping the neo and getting the mini pro especially after reviews saying neo;s camera is not on par with the arc.

+100 For bad viewing angle.
WHO cares for viewing angle If ur using a TAB there its IMP otherwise its better to have privacy.
it will be awkward if some1 stares while u text/watch videos or etc etc.
Lot of ppl do tht "look what the other person is doing in his phone".
Especially our public transport.
Blame it on Gadget Sites they started all this fuss abt viewing angle.

I am with you here too. I do not get the fuss at all. Very superfluous especially when reviewers mention it.

I agree with you guys on veiwing angle! Its so difficult to text something thats private!!
The only logical thing i can come up for this is when you want to view a movie, and dont want to hold the phone for the entire time..

Maybe viewing angle says something about the quality of the screen ? That a screen with a good viewing angle has better sunlight legibility. . . . . . ??? |

Does a viewing angle quality depend on how close the screen is to the glass??

Arc has decent sunlight legibility even it has poor viewing angle, I think it different from technology underlying AMOLED such a thing.
And I'm up with you guys I want some privacy when I typing some texts, what the fuss about those tech craze!
