RichLok;
I'd like to know which Cingular store has the T616? I've been to a few in my area and none of them have. Some have never even heard of it. |

True for the T616. I meant to say the 6800. There should be demos for that phone. |

I have heard that the T610s will be sold in the USA in July...Anybody else hear that too? Anyway, I guess I have to wait till then to get mine serviced ( hiss fixed ). |

Well it's June 12th. Has anyone seen the t616 or t610 in SoCal? I'm posting from San Diego and would like to hear from other residents about whether or no they found it. |

In West Covina here with a unlocked T68i on AT&Ts network (unlocked just so I could bring it to use in Taiwan while I was vacationing). Was in Alhambra helping a relative pick up some phones for a Cingular's Family plan and spoke to guy selling us the phones. Apparently they are getting some T610s in this week. Want to stop by and see them. Saw some briefly while I was in Taiwan a few months ago. Hope someone carries these phones soon, my T68i is getting dated ...

Fun So Cal Tech Fact.
If you are in the San Diego south or bay areas, you may be able to "see" (I.e., (see) Connect - Select Network) MoviStar's new GSM1900 Network south of the border.
It should read MX 03. You may also get Telcel's network MX TELCEL.

Hi, I'm bringing this thread back to the top.
I go to school at UCR and my home is at Mission Viejo. Used to have an unlocked at&t t68i with t-mobile and a couple days ago I got a 03w28 T616 from phonesquare in San Gabriel.
For anyone who's in the Mission Viejo area. I recommend going to Virtual Dynamix for any unlocking or firmware upgrading. They're cool guys and helped me with my t68i firmware upgrade and even gave me a loaner phone while I waited. It's nice to have a local place like that so you don't have to send the phone out. |
