Well if Iran has the right to do so then every country in the world also has the right - is that not your opinion?

Certainly. Why wouldn't other countries want what the nuclear club have.

Is that not a bit worrying to you at all?

Certainly.
And before we all get a bit worried about what Iran MAY do, let's remember the US has already used nuclear weapons and maintains a nuclear capability. Historically, the US has shown no hesitation in launching wars of aggression against whomever she pleases. And was it not Reagan, not the Iranians, who said, "Let's bomb Russia!"?

I can't understand why you don't think trying to halt Nuclear Proliferation is a good idea
Do you honestly believe the world would be a safer, more stable place if more countries had nuclear capability?
If so then why?

i thought there were more countries besides the VS that want to take iran to the security council? yes we used are nukes one time after we were attacked without just cause and after we nuked them we were quick to rebuild for them.i think there are more countries involved in the iran situation than the US.

I think the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty should be upheld. I think the US, UK, France, China and Russia should have disarmed years ago, as they always stated they would.
I think if the International Community had not allowed Israel (a country that has invaded its neighbours Jordan, Syria, Egypt and Lebanon (as well as attacking Iraq)) to develop nuclear weaponry, thus destabilising the whole Middle East, a lot of today's issues may not have come about.
Iran is not the issue.
