Wow, even after creating a promotion video, they might be canceling the phone? It's such a nice looking device, but I wouldn't mind them "temporarily" taking the device away from us to do a few major upgrades, then giving it a new name...
Even after announcing phones, they can still cancel them. Not really a surprise about Beibei and Paris, although I would have loved to see Beibei on the market. |

We will see, how will be with built quility, cause I feel, that SE still doesn't make inference. |

I would like to know how much $$ SE did spend for BeiBei and Paris project if they canceled these..
But C905 looks damn good in black.. |

It would probably be a good thing if Paris were cancelled. By the time it would even hit shelves it would still not even be on par with the N95. But at least the C905 looks like it could be a hit.
It would be a shame though if the G702 got cancelled as its the first really newish phone from the G series in terms of software platform. Camer looks pretty usefull too.

Hmm, you mean some real info you got?
So what, SE is leaving smartphone market for good?
Hard to believe.

Wtf are you talking about??
G702 is just repeating some G series ideas when Paris was supposed to be the next gen. of smartphones! Something what is missing on SE right now.

No, no, just the rumors. I really hope that it will not come to real.

Strange leaks anyways. Strange 'cos different every month.
It's seriously late, if we assume that the last SE's smartphone announced is P1!!!

If these were cancelled with a view to update the hardware then thats a good thing so I dont see what all the negativity is about. If in the end of comes back better then so be it.

IF the above is true, than good.
But users here remember well some previous SE stories,
so you know, even with the huge amount of good will,
nobody's trusting SE 100% anymore...
The rumours are strange, I'd say.

I'm curious, what kinda UIQ smartphone are you hoping SE will make?
Something similar to going from P900 to P990. I already have a P990 (actually 2 of them) so I wouldn't pay for the same thing with a different makeup.
There has to be improvement in RAM, processor, screen, more frequencies support, WLAN "G" and possibly GPS - with a decent keyboard. Along with some simple ergonomics, such as the headphone connector not being at the side, jog dial. Symbian 9.5 would definitely be a plus.
Please note that currently none of the SE offerings since the P990 have even the same size screen as the P990.
P990i: A mistake, a curse and a disgrace So I lowered my expectations and settled for a P1i. I couldn't keep my expectations so low for a long time so now I have an HTC Touch HD |
