@soulseek: According to Pricerunner there are 8 (5) retailers with a price for the SE K700 of less than 4000 SEK, excluding (including) freight.

the k700 is kewl enough but its no way as good as the s700 but thats not until Q4.....does anyone know when Q4 starts? |

I've heard from a shop that the first available phone could be prototypes. How to check that a phone is a final one? What should be the firmware and where to check?

Yes sorry marik, and welcome. Regarding the release date (uk) no one knows exactly but most guesses seem to be mid june. Certain network providers and countries will be later though.

Is there anyone else form Finland here that has got a price for the K700. The price I heard from a local dealer was 500 - 550 €. Isn't that a little high?!

Just picked up the latest Carphone Warehouse (UK) monthly brochure and they have prices for the K700 as follows:
Vodaphone: Handset costs £29.99 on a minimum £50pm contract. Upgrade £79.99
O2: Handset is free on a minimum £35pm contract. Upgrade £119.99
Orange: Handset is free on a minimum £30pm contract. Upgrade £79.99
Handset only price: £329.00
I presume these prices aren't definate yet, but it gives us an idea. Also they have a few errors in their specifications, so maybe these prices should be taken with a big pinch of salt!
Still no release date from them yet... just June sometime (possibly..)! |

If it is a prototype it will be stated inside the battery cover where the production date and hardware generation info is placed. I mean: the text Protoype will be visible.
