Tsepz Its been a looooong wait with a lot of hype.Guess who's got an upgrade on the 3rd June?
Don't worry.I won't abandon you.Sticking with my S2 for 2 years.
Gonna terminate my second contract and be a normal person with 1 phone contract and not 2 or 3.

Mmmm Ive heard this all before I hear you say

No you won't, watch a few GS3 videos, it will suck you in lol, seems like one of those phones that will be much better looking "in the flesh".

Not this time bud.Still great interest in this G2.I don't know what everyone who say they are disappointed were expecting.Technology can only move so fast.Design wise I don't mind it at all.

I have a mixed opinion on this rom its fast but it has issues especially when scrolling, also having problems with non wifi GPs which is infuriating

Could be a modem problem but I really have no idea

Yep scrolling was an issue for me as well but I've sorted that out with Siyahs
latest v3.2b8 kernel. It now flows smooth with all apps and system menus.

Make sure you visit the FAQ page and also read through the thread. There is almost always a fix for everything.

What exactly is your GPS problem? Maybe I can help search a fix for you.

Cheers Hobbs I'll install the latest siyah tonight
My GPS problem is that I can only get an accurate GPS lock when wifi is on when I'm at home, but when I turn wifi off and turn mobile internet on, my GPS signal is totally inaccurate.
I've experienced this before with other roms and all it took was a 5 minute wait
But I've even tried walking round my street and checking GPS at work with this from and it just can't get a good lock when I'm not using wifi, this is probably because I've changed the modem when I upgrade to ics I've only just started modding with android so I used a tutorial off YouTube which basically just used Odin to flash new firmware, PDA, bootloader , modem and csc
So it might just be the modem I need to change but don't really know how to replace my current modem with a better one.

Th GPS issue is annoying at the moment as I need great GPS tracking for my running training that I've started doing, any help would be great:)

Flashed the Tablet UI Mod for Resurrection Remix.Don't think I'll use it all the time but its interesting nevertheless.

Screenshots of Home,App Drawer,Contacts,Gmail and Notification Bar now at the bottom of the screen.

Dpi is set at 128 by default.

Also flashed back to the Default Themed apps and got rid of the Pitch Black Theme.

Here some good news for you since you were a CheckROM Revo HD fan.

Off CheckROMS twitter feed.

CheckROM ‏ @CheckROM
There will be a DK kernel release for #ICS soon to be followed by a ICS Rom. #Checkrom #DarkKnight

Woohoo!

Have to admit theres something really cool about the TabletUI Mod for Resurrection. Its just such a pity that its still a work in progress for the S2 and needs to be tweaked for the S2's screen.I really like it.Will definitely be giving it another try when it is more polished.
