Ummm.... what does the 3g iphone specs got to do with this thread?
On a short note I don't want it. (Maybe the third version) |

No MMS or video record on iPhone? Still, it is very nice and will do well. I'm waiting for the SE rival (the Java video phone) but until then, I would not go for the current SE lineup.
PS
Shitaly will come good, they were not too bad. Dutch were excellent. French be warned, Dutch to screw them next while Italy beat Romania to set up an epic final game where winner takes all. |

Ok, I bought the 8G Iphone when it was first released. Needless to say I only used it the first 45 days of owning it. I didn't like a lot of it's shortcomings (i.e. no keypad). Nevermind having to have signed a contract with ATT and going to the pain of getting it unlocked for use with my Vodafone sims.
How will the iPhone 2.0 compare to the Paris in terms of business functionality? I still want to continue using my Blackberry connect software.

I am an Iphone owner that has one collecting dust for a few months now. So I don't wish to get anyone's opinions on why an Iphone is better then any SE phone. The thin layer of dust on that 8G iPhone I have should be a good indicator of the hype that I got suckered into.
That said, I am hoping SE doesn't disappoint us with the Paris model. I have been a loyal SE mobile phone owner for years. However, this Paris model seems more like an M600/P1i upgrade then a P990i upgrade. Again, they are getting rid of the full alpha keyboard and numeric keypad that has been present in all Pxxx series. That is one of the major reasons why I still kept my P990i. I could barely type anything fast enough on virtual keypads as used with the iPhone.

So the Xperia X1 is not the P990i upgrade?
These are my two pride and joys that I use on a regular basis. My trusty P990i and my trusty "Dick Tracy" like Multimedia (email, web, audio player, video player, speakerphone, and BT capable) Touch screen Tri-band Watch Phone.

@BigFeat
Your hoping for no disappointment from Paris - I feel the same way about Shiho (technical-expert, its Shiho, not Shihio lol)!
Lets hope the 'Cyber-shot' name is done proud by Sony Ericsson - and no, I dont give a damn what 'Eldar' thinks!
Sony Alpha.

@BigFeat, that's a nice case there, where did you get it from?
P990i: A mistake, a curse and a disgrace So I lowered my expectations and settled for a P1i. I couldn't keep my expectations so low for a long time so now I have an HTC Touch HD |

Customized by Piel Frama. Crocodile & Ostrich mix. Should make a Peta member cringe.
