Hi all Canadians,
I just got a new K700i and I am having problem sending/receiving MMS message. I am on Fido.
Any ideas?

1. set up new Data Account : FidoMMS (arbitary)
APN= mms.fido.ca
User ID=fido
Password=fido
IP= (blank... if you put anything here, you will have no access)
2. set up new WAP profile: FidoMMS (arbitary)
Connect Using = FidoMMS (name used in step 1)
Internet mode: WAP
IP Address= 205.151.011.013
Security: Off
Username:
Password:
3. MMS Options
Message Server= http://mms.fido.ca
WAP Profile=FidoMMS (name used in step 2)

i am no pro. so do you think if i bought a k700 to work it in Canada on Rogers, will i be able to share pictures? *with my high level-beginner knowledge?

Bugger all!! Grrrrr.... Why oh why does my picture messaging not work? I'm at the point where I'm going to have to just give up trying. I've tried getting help in setting it up on various forums (doesn't work), i've gone to Rogers (they sent me to Pacific Mall - they sent me somewhere else, no help), and now I GIVE UP...... the internet browser works fine, but whenever i try and send a picture it moves the picture to the outbox where it stays FOREVER.... Bah humbug! *sob*sob*sob*

hmm....my guess is...although i might be wrong heh...is that you might have set the profile that it will use as the wrong one...theres a difference between the internet profile and MMS profile |

Does anybody know if there's an SE service center in Canadia? If none exists, where would I find the closest one?
I'm just looking to upgrade some firmware here for the k700

There is ONLY one in our VAST land lol
Get the customer support # from the SE website, they'll give you the details...
