It depends. For some reason pubs over here chuck out at about 11, even at weekends! Some (usually in town and city centres) get a late licence till about 2, and I think some can get a special license to stay open even later in big city centres.
The majority though call last orders at about 11, which is pathetic! It apparently dates from about WW1 when factory workers were staying at the pub too late, getting pissed and making a nuisance of themselves. It for some reason has never been repealed.

@kimcheeboi - Why not try drinking some milk mate, it's good for your health! I guess you are quite too young to be used in drinking so much beers and vodkas . . . at my age never did I manage to puff cigars/cocaine/shabu etc. and never drank vodkas, rhums, cognacs etc. Maybe that's why I am like this - I total and complete lunatic! |

Milk's apparently good for hangovers! Although I often found a good fry-up was pretty good also. Bit fattening though! I have to admit I don't drink much, I kinda got a bit, erm, sick of the hangovers and spending a small fortune on booze. It was fun though when I did!

speaking of hangovers, a liter of gatorade (or any sports drink that replaces electrolytes) and a couple of aspirin or ibuprofen (NOT ACETAMINOPHEN, IT WILL FU*K YOUR LIVER) helps.
honey (like toast with honey) = fructose, which is also good for hangovers.
tomato juice or light tomato/pasta dishes will help too.
smae with fruit juice.
but best cure of all is not to drink
