@neilc, you should configure virtual com ports on your BT adapter to connect to the T68's virtual serial ports.
@nookie, the last time i downloaded that it's not corrupted. anyway, i have a copy of all these software. |

Hey guys,
My prob is that after loading My Picture, Send File, XtNdc and MPM (all latest versions), my PC didn't think I had MPM installed. I was getting that Run Time error 429 someone stated above. I'm using a serial data cable, not IR or Bluetooth.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Make it in simple terms too!!!!
Thanks

From my experience, XTNDConnect Blue Manager dosen't work with MPM from Ericsson. I can only use it for gprs dial up connection. I bought a new MSI dongle and the software comes with MSI works well with MPM, so all Ericsson applications work well. My PC is w2k+sp3 |

Hello all,
I have just registered and I would just like to say what a fantastic site this is, a God-send.
It has been really interesting reading many of the posts especially regarding connectivity and data management.
I have owned a T68i since August and despite the lengthy delay in receiving my DCU-10 USB cable I am now all hooked up to my laptop and synching away nicely...with Outlook 2000 that is. Contacts, Calendar and Tasks all work perfectly and I am also using the phone as a modem while on the move and I am quite impressed by its performance.
The main issue I have seen so far is with this piece of software called the Phone Book and Text Message Manager. I am using Version 2.0.161 and like many posts I have read the software appears to synch with the phone (it is recognizing my T68i) but there is nothing in any of the folders after synch is complete. I can however send SMS by inputting the phone number of the recipient.
I am in the process of downloading the Package 2 as I believe this contains an updated version of the PBTM. My questions are:
1. In order to install this package should I remove the existing Communication Suite first or am I okay with just overwriting it?
2. As I am using the DCU-10 USB cable will Package 2 contain all of the drivers I need?
3. Will this installation affect my current XTND installation as I am loathed to "fix something that ain't broke" - if you catch my drift.
Many thanks for any help you can provide in this matter, I look forward to your help.
best regards,

if PBTM is problematic for you, just use XTND Connect. It does the same end result anyway, and more. |

Thankyou arnoldc,
I think I will stick with XTND. Is it possible to send SMS to contacts using Outlook?
Also, one more question and I'll get off your case! Is the MMS Home Studio compatible with the T68i, I have read that it can only be used with the T300?
many thanks for your help,

Richy, i have the MMS studio but haven't given it a try. I'll ping you about it later.
Yes, you can send/receive SMS from Outlook. During installation that option is checked. |
