Given that they did start developing the car a year ago, if they were doing as badly as Honda last year, that would, in all honestly, be appalling.

Wow! The quiet is too loud in here.
Is it that the usual suspects are nowhere near the top of the standings after 5 races or have you guys simply lost interest?
I have to say it F1 '09 has become too predictable and I have lost 70 percent interest.
Brawn certainly are in a driving seat (pun intended) and I don't see anyone stopping them. |

it was a bit of a dull race to be honest, except for the moment of madness at the start
Barichello seemed a bit put out that Button had his strategy changed which allowed him to win, but Brawn has since said that there was no malice in it, and there is no favouritism
What I did hear over the w/e which suprised me if I heard it right and that is that from next year they have to start the race with all the fuel they need for the race! Pit stops will only be for change of tires and other tweaks

Hmmm.... More changes. I don't know what to think of these ones.
I agree that the race was rather dull but I can't help noticing how quick the Brawn cars are even with the other teams having included the new diffusers in their own cars. |

Amazing how this thread has gone quiet since the demise of the Ferrari/McClaren processions.
Well done Jenson, now on to Britain

I'd go as far as saying most drivers are on par with each other, but the cars are the main differientiater, look at Mr World Champion sitting pretty in 13th

McLaren have a horrible car this season.
Nobody's going to catch Brawn, they're just too good. Simply outstanding!

go FOTA!!! it's about time they leave max, bernie and all their political machinations behind! the sport (whatever it will now be called) will only be better with laurel and hardy banished from the picture.
god knows who will even be tuning in to what will effectively be GP2B next year... |
