Unfortunately SE launched their last two prototypes without any noticeable improvements in speed from when they first appeared at an event and when they hit the streets. I suspect many people who experienced the P990 / M600 issues will look at the "lag" with trepidation.

Hope so. Think the G900 looks like a great phone.
Currently use W880 (slim) and M600 (e-mail).
Think I'll be getting G900 to replace W880 - 5mp cam, autofocus, exchange activesync, ability to get push e-mail, sync calendar and contacts with exchange server, wifi, touchscreen
and
X1 for multimedia in car - sat nav, music, occasional personal phone and surfing the web (obviously not when driving).
Just hope UI speed is greatly improved! |

It was highlighted that the G-series not are Smartphone but will give a much richer user experience
It is UIQ based, so how on earth is it not a smartphone?

Because smart-phones are for smart-people!
(just kidding)
They are not targeting the G series as business phones.
They are trying to reach the rest of the human kind...

anyone who says the Gseries are not smartphones is extremly dumb.
anyone who says that nokia Nseries are real smartphones don't have ZERO knowledge about cellphone history.
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

Will the G900 have HSDPA + Wifi???
I want either this or an Xperia, but dont think I'll be able to afford the Xperia.
G900 will be great for me, I just need HSDPA + Wifi and Wireless G on my phone! |
