First, stop shouting. I think you need to get it to a service center to get help

I take photos in 1600*1200,normal setting,macro/normal mode and save to memory card...after my firmware upgrade to r9,i can't set any picture i took as wallpaper...it says "picture cannot be used as wallpaper.picture or file size is too big"

i used to have a picture i took as my wallpaper...after the new r9 SEUS,its no longer accepted as a wallpaper.

Anyone else having similar problem??

My flash on my phone doesn't work when using the camera, but does come on on the service test.

Any tips?

I would not.

R7 with SM in my phone was more stable than R9. Atleast in R7 the phone did not restart on incoming calls. I have lost about 6 calls since I updaed (Jan 4th) to this. Now I am not a heavy user. In fact given the current instability of the phone I am not comfortable with using the phone for anything else other than voice and SMS.

Unfortunately I cannot even change the phone. I only recently requested my boss to switch me to the 990 from the O2 Atom (priamairly becuase the Atom lacked a tactile numeric keypad). Maybe I should have waited for the N95.

In general I'm having much fewer problems with the new fw than before. So, I would do the upgrade.

Same here...i find 3 restarts in 21 days quite acceptable, not to mention the other improvements

makbil, you mentioned on your previous posts here that you've done a 'reset" on the phone to temporarily offset the memory leak, how do you do that?

I would not mind th 6 restarts I have had (in the past 17 days) but all 6 have happened on incoming calls. No other application has ever caused a restart. For someone who is often only reachable via mobile this is ciritical.

I think there is a misunderstanding here. What I may have said was that due to some extreme memory problems I had to restart the phone, that is turn off/on. That way all the memory becomes available again.

I agree. Although I've had only one case of the "Yes" reboot, it did get me into the habit of making sure I know who is calling before I press yes
That way at least I can call them back.
