BROD can be fixed with SEUS, restarts come with every phone. And again, no new FW ever!

Was recently looking around for a black X8 when I chanced upon a Sony shop with a brand new K850i (complete package!) being sold for a fraction of its original price!
Previously read and was already aware of all major software problems this handset had... but what the heck, still bought it. Couldn't resist!
So far it's been stable, but for some reason I'm not able to update the firmware (currently R1EA031). I keep getting a message saying I already have the latest firmware. Not really much of a concern for me... as long as I don't encounter the dreaded BROD.
Keeping my fingers crossed!

To enable update you need to change region. But first you need to tell me your region in phone since you live in the same place I am. You just need to edit the region in order to enable update. Cause reflashing using a2uploader without returning to proper region may void warranty. Like mine I bought it for 1/4 of original price last december 2010 and I maintained its apac region firmware for main,fs and Cust pack

Don't worry about BROD, it's easily fixed.
