I'm sure you're able to tell that it's a bad photoshop... We've seen dozens better-looking photoshops of shiho than that

this or next week I will get G900, G700, C902 to check, of course prototypes. So what I have heard- just G900 built quolity are normal, but the others are bad quality- the battery cover crackles. Very sad......

Beibei has one UGLY theme (good thing that can be changed). Also, Im with Eldar here, WTF is up with that stylus? Looks like something your kid would win at a fair as a toy or something. Its gotta be more classy than that! I also agree that SE have the potential, but their direction may be wrong. I suppose, in typical SE fashion they are looking out for their long term goals more than anything. Hopefully communicasia will bring more of what we expect.

Good news for all US Esato members viewing this thread: Beibei, according to the pics at m-r, is quadband. So its really likely the same will go for Paris, and hopefully it stays that way

its similar to one in p800, and thats very easy to use. and i dont think its location will affect the phones use...............

So Paris definitely has UIQ 3.3 now according to that article (Eldar lied again). So if they can change the software, surely they can change the processor and things too for the final release. I honestly believe Paris won't have the 208 mhz cpu we all have been told it has. These people with the prototypes don't seem to know anything about the final spec, as Eldar has shown in the last week or two. I wouldn't trust a word said until we have an announcement.

notice also how he says both Paris and Beibei have "96mb of RAM"...unless he his talking about free RAM after boot (and that is too high), its another error, there no way Paris and Beibei have less than 128mb of RAM

Actually... Eldar is right about the UIQ version. He wasn't lying. The very first prototypes did in fact only run UIQ 3.0, but as he said, he "updated its firmware and found out that all differences between the Paris and the G702 simply vanished" - aha! So it is possible to update from UIQ 3.0 to UIQ 3.3.

That's been my theory all along, and that, ladies and gents, might just be the reason why it's taken so long on the P1/W960 firmware updates.

Even so, what Eldar has said and has IMPLIED over the last few weeks hasn't been very trustworthy. I'm not saying we shouldn't trust Eldar, as he has proven reliable in the past. I'm simply saying that obviously there are changes happening to the prototypes all the time, and even now! So we can't really take what these people like Eldar are saying as fact. We must wait.

I've said it many times.
Eldar's "preview" is based on nothing real, or on some pieces of information only.
Nothing reliable, as for "leak".
His reviews are great though.
Paris must be strong, when it's UiQ3.3 and Opera 9.5 and etc.
RAM is at least 128MB.

This is exactly my point, sorry if i'm hurting somebody here, but Eldar didn't lie, he said what he knows, and what we all knows, he said that all prototypes till now has UIQ 3.0, and we all know this, and he didn't say a thing about the final version, wich we don't know...
but as mentioned by Mizzle the phone platform from UIQ 3.0 to 3.3 is not that much different so the update can be done, but this doesn't mean every UIQ 3.0 phone will be update to UIQ 3.3 ( P1i or W960i for example ) as it will take too much R&D for a dead already phone, Paris is P1i successor and W960i coming already this year so it's pointless to do such a big update ( UIQ 3.0 to UIQ 3.3 ) for a device that's already succeded by new version !!

even thought I have W960i, I don't want to make a UIQ 3.3 update to it if this update will affect future developement, it will be nice ofcourse to have a big update to my phone for free, but I care more about making a good share in high-end phones rather than have this update to this phone, wich by the time that UIQ 3.3 mature, it will be old ( i'm seeing it old already )

Ok...he answered me and said 96mb is FREE RAM - this is way above P1/W960/G900/G700, that also have total 128mb, but have around 80mb at boot - so UIQ 3.3 must be less RAM heavy?
