TVR Tuscan, custom built to your every need and whim in Blackpool, Lancashire, UK, my county of origin.

Personally I'd have a black one but to be honest, if I had a motor like that, I wouldn't care what colour it is

Here is my car, It gets lots more attention than my girlfirend does sometimes

Porshce 944 1992 J-Reg with a very economical 2.7i litre engine

P.s. Pictures taken with my trusty K750i earlier this week, so thought i'd show them off.

Posted by Miss UK
thats cruel

btw how much is your insurance on that ?

Posted by defensive
You don't wanna know what the insurance is, the car cost me £7,000 2months ago, real bargain i thought. I'm 18yrs old insurance would have been £5,000ish BUT i am on my dads as named 2nd driver for an eXtra £300 lol totals £800, cost me £500 for my dad as he doesn't drive it so i payed his. Only downside is that i dont actually get any no-claims in my name

Makes you realise why cars sometimes get more attention than girls, the reasons are more obvious everytime the girl speaks (thats because the car purrs)

By the way how old are you, & if 17+ have you taken many lessons yet?

Posted by Miss UK
lol just ignore me ive been sitting my butt at this machine for 6hrs and im falling asleep

how many miles is on the clock? i hope you've not wrote that already

Ps. im a old missy, im 27 next month!

Nope not yet (although i was thinking about edting my original post just for laughs ) its got just over 96,000 miles on the clock, almost the big 100,000 Should run for a long time to come yet though, i'm slowly doing the interior of it as well, got the engine and bodywork sorted to a decent standard.

P.s. 6hrs lol - its a saturday, get out with friends

Posted by Cornholio_666
talking about insurance, i'll be laughing when my cars built, my cousins fiesta when he was first insured cost him £1600, i saw on another forum (somewhere a while ago) that a 17 year old had a similar car specification that i'm building for £700/800!

it's still a baby then your car.. you need to take to the full throttle lol..
interior.. easily ammended

I cancelled my mate tonight didn't wanna go out this is the first time a' home ona saturday for 4yrs

Posted by defensive
Well probably shouldn't post the speeds that i've achieved on this forum, but what the hell i will anyway The top speed i had out of it was 145mph The 0-60 time clocks in at just under 5secs, that i like a lot.. yeh the interior is easily sorted, spent most money on tuning the engine and bodywork perect (that damn convertible roof was expensive to fix)

So tonight instead of going out with a mate you stuck here with me talking about cars Doesn't sound too bad actually!

Posted by Miss UK
145 blimmey...

you kids today I dunno!!! have you evey crashed im saying it can't be your Porshe maybe a mates car, or a hire car

Todays been ok, seems weird being at home tonight even worse tomorw me thinks ... but yeah id rather talk utter rubbish here on esato then let my hair down

Posted by defensive
Nope never ever crashed any car, only been driving 12months but i've had 5cars Hope i never do crash either.

145mph was ok, could have kept going as well, but running very low on fuel, i only had it for about 3weeks and forgot to fill it up with fuel lol

Edit : Whys tomorrow going to be even worse for you?

I hope you don't crash either...

but you get sum twats that happen to crash into you and there not insured so watchout!

Sunday... well it's the first at home again... I normally sleep thru it

Posted by defensive
Yeh i know, one of my mates had some idiot crash into him at the traffic lights, the idiot was a 64yr old guy with a massive volvo, completely wiped the rear end of my mates escort out.. the stupid old guy wasn't insured either so my mate had to take him through the court system to get money out of him to pay for the damages.

Well its my first day off tomorrow as well so i think i'll probably catch up on a load of sleep also

Posted by Miss UK
lol 64... there shud be a ban against them drivers lmao
they drive there cars at 30mph

well today I plan to cut our lawn... get sum sun methinks.. we'll see tho

Posted by defensive
Mmm, today! Its past midnight already lol

Yeh as long as weather is quite good i think i may go though to Manchester, need to do a fair bit of shopping before my holidays, 3rd August yay

Posted by Miss UK
it's gonnabe hot again all week..

isn't that funny ive got hols coming up at the end of this month 2

tink i'll head to ma bed ina sec getting a maj headache now being at this bloody pc :-/

Posted by defensive
hehe, its ok for me, i'm lying on my bed as i'm typing this, the joys of a laptop and wireless broadband

Where you going on your hols? I'm off to new york for a few days then down to Miami for 2 weeks.

Posted by Cornholio_666
both my cousins have been in crashes which weren't their fault. the first one my cousins escort was written off by an old man who crashed into the side of him. and the second one his younger brother, who was in his mates fiesta which was written off when they were hit by a drunk driver. i was in my mums old Fix It Againt Tony (fiat) uno, about 7 years ago when a learner driver stalled in front of us then we were hit by a double-decker bus. at the time my mum was pregnant with my little sister. we were all fine the car only had a couple of small scratches, which was a suprise!

Posted by defensive
Yeh thats the problem though, other drivers can be right b******s and you never can tell when or where there gonna be. If only people would learn to drive properly before being let loose on the open roads hey, well we can wish, Right..

Posted by Cornholio_666
i had a go in my cousins fiesta around crystal palace park about 2 years ago. i found driving quite easy but there was no other cars around so thats gonna be a bit weird when i get some lessons.

Posted by Miss UK
I wonder what i'll be like let loose on the open road...

I ain't going anywhere in my hols, ma mates hard up on cash
I wanted to also go NYC *Sigh*

Posted by defensive
Yeh the only reason we're going to NYC first before Miami is because my mum & younger brother have never been, whereas me and my dad went a few months back to get some electronics

Anyway back to the car topic, heres one of my favourite cars ever..

http://www.automarket.co.yu/pozadina/koenigsegg_cc_2000.jpg

Posted by teamster1975
It'll be nervewracking as hell to start with, & then you'll feel like you rule the road
Watch out during your first months on your own, my instructor told me that you don't really start to learn until you're out there solo.
I failed my first test, passed second, that was 13 years ago! Passed my bike test first time though

Posted by Cornholio_666
ahh the koenigsegg, was once the fastest car top gear ever tested...

Posted by defensive
oh yes the koenigsegg cc lovely car, i told you the car gets more attention than the girls lol

Posted by Miss UK
so it's another trip to get more leccys then

nyc is the best shopping place they say, dunno what the prices are like but ive been bought a few ladys thing's back from there

lol nice car>why do they always need wimmin to advertise cars lol

I don't know

Posted by Cornholio_666
i think nice cars don't really need women to sell them its just some people like to see models show some flesh next to a nice car, i don't get it myself.
